I’m curious as to what it’s being used for. Is it just concept art and writing? Is there anything that’s actually good enough to use in the 3D space?
Decent base for sculpting, textures, quick concepts, you can turn a basic concept better like dude procedurally generates cities with houdini and uses ai to add detail like bridges and stuff, cant even notice
Yeah the article doesn’t mention any actual use cases, which means they could be using it for anything from generating basic scripts to automate simple tasks (fine) to using it to replace voice actors (very bad).
Just saying that X percent of companies use AI in some capacity really does not mean much.
Yeah I guess there’s the code assistants, that’s probably the main one.
Re: the 3d space, there are text-to-3d generative workflows of varying efficacy (I think Meshy is popular). There are texture generators that include depth maps.
That’s more impressive than I expected, I assume tools like that are actually used extensively in the games industry.
Hell yeah, it’s been a pretty nice autocomplete for me.
Smart for boilerplate, not so much for everything else.
Probably summarizing Zoom/Teams meetings and picking out action items for people to follow up on.
