I dont need an iphone for that, but the(in my opinion) good hardware of the iphone with free software would be nice. Most linux phones are pretty crap but seeing what asahilinux is on arm macs i would have hope in iphone linux if the hardware was open. Of course its possible people would just port android which isnt the best result as android in my opinion is basically a worse, mostly proprietary version of linux.

Not completely related to the foldable iphone(tho im sure it would slap because it would be a good execution of the idea) but its such a shame that apple has to be so bitchy with their software. If theyd just open up the software(or the eu forces them to) i would instantly buy one when custom os’s are available. Imagine getting a linux iphone.

Its funny how people are clowning on a 700$ console but buy phones for twice as much happily every year.

Btw there are things called “screws” and they can look cool on a more traditionally male watch or you can put it on the back plate androgynous or female watch. You dont need glue for waterproofing, thats just anti-repair propaganda. Look at every mechanical watch, gshock, garmin, etc they all have screws and 100,200 or even more meters of water resistance. If the battery, screen, back assembly and maybe the buttons are repairable thats already good for a smartwatch.

You know what, i kinda agree. Eating, rent, transport, etc shouldnt be real bills. A teacher 100% should be able to pay for those easily.

Yeah they were so big on immigration that now a substantial part of the population doesnt speak swedish because they dont have enough money/teachers to teach them proper swedish. A lot of people speak miljonsvenska(kind of a mixed language between swedish, english, turkish, arabic, etc) or just speak their own language. This creates dense pockets of crimes. In stockholm for example you can live a few metro stops from rinkeby, a place where theres a lot of crime, but you dont notice it because it doesnt leak out. Of course everyone is starting to notice how bad it is because sometimes it spills out.

Idk about other people but just learning c is so logical. You do stupid shit, you get stupid results. Of course there are a lot of bad things with c but at least when you sit down to understand how it works, it works while most oop languages are so detached from the hardware its hard to understand anything. It might be just me but oop breaks my brain. Also ive never coded in c++ but i automatically avoided it. I heard rust has very minimal oop and its just to make things smoother so i may try that.

In hungary its python and c++ in the curriculum but on the tests you can usually choose between a few languages.

No thats virtual ram that works differently. Virtual ram is usually much more than 8gb.

Tbf the high ram usage wouldnt be a problem if it cached processes in it and used it to save battery but its just pure bloat. I think phones should have a coprocessor that handles notifications like what smartwatches do and that basically free battery. But android is also bloated because apps take a very long time to launch because of the jvm and java (thats what i heard at least, idk if this is actually why its slow) so everything is just left active. Also i think android strayed too far from linux, its basically just a worse version with a mobile ui and the support of a country sized company.

Chrome casually using 8gbs with a few tabs open. Also windows 11. I got a school laptop and windows uses 5gb out of the box💀. Linux supremacy.

Idk abour other people but i pirate everything first and if its good i buy it. I pirated a bunch of games back in the day and bought the good ones. Terraria, geometry dash, minecraft, etc(can you tell i played on mobile lol)
