It’s an accessibility issue too. I have a friend who is both hard of hearing and has visual problems, they can make out zoomed in plaintext but the captchas are just too much for them.

Semafor is a news site just like Axios is, it does shorten things down though and has lots of newsletters.

And I was just sending an alternative website reporting because when I don’t recognise the URL something comes from I’m immediately sceptical. There’s a lot of misinfo that goes around.

It’s never all or nothing friend. You can vote and sign a couple petitions (which in the grand scheme of things take no time), and also push revolutionary protests and praxis.

Just sync it using whatever cloud service you use, doesnt matter if selfhosted or not. ie. DIY

BTW if your library gets large and has a lot of plugins, it wont run to any useful degree on your phone.
