On a Helldiver level we should be looking to pressure AH into getting ahead of the curve rahter than wait for legislation/regulation. Like Imagine instead of being forever bound to J.O.E.L. HD2 has tools allowing for players to run thier own seperate galactic wars be it solo or even communty wide.
(like maybe this community has it’s own server where the mods are J.O.E.L.)

Although it does make me wish we could go back to self hosting fps servers, those were the days…
I’ll attempt to echo Ross Scott:
The approximate end goal of the Stop Killing Games intiative is to:
- prevent publishers from killing games where consumers/gamers were not
informedbriefed that what they paid for was a live service game. - and/or have the live service game in any manner of a playable state when they decide to pull the plug.
As to how the UK’s government will respond will be up to them.
Will they come in clutch for Divers, UK consumers, and fellow gamers? or will they fumble the ball?
- It’s up to them to decide how they should act.
