I googled and came across a small guide how to actually do it (for everyone else that’s stumbling across this post):

Start button>%appdata%>Arrowhead>Helldivers2

You want to delete the “Helldivers2” folder, and re launch the game. This will reset all settings, but fix hard locks.

It is likely a shader issue, or something of the like.
