I recently entered the IT field in help desk and have gotten my CCNA. I’m currently studying for my AWS cloud practitioner cert, and was going to go for Linux+ then the CCNP after that. However I’ve been doing some research into ICS/SCADA systems and the area deeply interests me. Do you think that’s a viable career path in lieu of the CCNP, & if so what ICS/SCADA cert or course would you recommend ??

Engineering is the usual path into SCADA, but most firms require specialists and networking is certainly a needed specialty.

    Do both.

SCADA is highly dependent on networking, right? Plus it’ll always be in high demand
