    Some issues are

    1. As mentioned, they will not run on the actual hardware
    2. Pressed CD’s normally last longer than a burned one.
    3. It’s far too easy for the creator to simply create a few extra to make a little more $, where as creating pressed media take a bit more effort/money as you need to do it in bulk to be cheaper than just ordering blank CDs on Amazon.
    4. It’s far less “premium”, which is normally what limited run items are for.

      Thanks for the summary. I started on PS1 and we haven’t really seen many fan projects for anything in that era just yet. I’m hoping this type of stuff makes it to PS1 and above at some point so I can enjoy this type of nostalgia.

      Now I know to look out for this sort of stuff if we ever do make it to that point.
