The important part about the history of Edison-Tesla relationship isn’t some personal anecdote about how Edison was a bad guy, but the contrast between how geniuses are presented as miraculous thinkers who advance humanity who deserve their theoretical thriving under capitalism, and the reality that even the work of great minds gets easily appropriated by someone more socially privileged than them, or else it won’t even be allowed to see the light of day.
