Genuine question for the homies who have played Spider-Man 2: did they write Miles to be any more interesting? I liked Spider-Man 1 Peter’s dialogue and jokes, like, a lot. I enjoyed playing as Miles in his own game, but I thought the character was boring, just, so so boring. Especially in contrast to Spiderverse’s version of Miles. I haven’t bought 2 yet, is Miles more fun to listen to this time? Could I enjoy Spider-Man 3 as a full Miles game if I thought that the Spider-Man: Miles Morales game had a disappointing protagonist?
I’m currently playing Spider man 2 and trying to explain it without spoilers is a bit tough.
They done a decent job combining Peter and Miles story but their story isn’t the main one. Main one is Venom, second is Peter and then Miles.
Miles isn’t per se more interesting within the game unfortunately. Still the same Miles that’s trying to learn from Peter. However Miles abilities are much more interesting in my opinion.
I hope if and when Spider man 3 comes, the story will be more about Miles about his past and how he develops as Spider man.
I really enjoy the character of miles he is just such a nice wholesome kid . I really enjoyed him in spiderman 2 but his story wasn’t that deep . With the end of spiderman 2 I don’t think there is much more they can do with Peter . So there is lots of room to expand on miles .
I’m not finished with the game yet, but I’m a decent chunk into it.
They have really focused on his development more. In a way they’re copying the normal Spiderman story (how to cope with balancing being a super hero versus having a regular life) but they’re changing it a little bit by having him deal with emotions and plot points from the Miles Morales spin-off. And he’s also balancing Pete who is going through the classic symbiote stuff.
I’d consider him a more interesting Spider-Man than the last game, but his regular life development isn’t any more interesting. But I’m probably about half to 2/3 through the game so that could change.
