Probably younger and/or poorer people who can’t casually drop hundreds of dollars on games every few months and end up swimming in Steam points like I do. Also they probably care a lot more about the stuff steam points can buy, I know I would have when I was younger.

I’ve heard they can with some kind of scheme be laundered into real money, though idk how and I haven’t bothered verifying the claim
Yeah: it seems off because he only have around 24 hours of playtime for a guy that would play it all the time…
