Tesla Cybertruck appears to be facing significant sales challenges. After initial hype faded, and over a million reservations turned out to be as real as unicorns, Tesla is now enabling leasing options and free upgrades to move its inventory of the futuristic pickup truck. The company’s recent silence on the Cybertruck, even omitting it from their earnings call, speaks volumes about the situation.

Tesla initially projected sales of 500,000 Cybertrucks annually and established production capacity at the Giga Texas for 250,000 units per year. After working through the initial reservation backlog with fewer than 40,000 deliveries, the automaker is now struggling to sell the remaining vehicles.

    squandered potential and self delusion

It depends on who you ask. In our fucked up culture where money > people, productivity > humanity, and dominating others > helping others, Musk is the ideal grand vision for what a person with “potential” will become. He has the highest score, therefore the best results.

It’s a fucking tragedy how many people admire both him and Trump for the most horrible reasons.

(In before somebody explains how this is capitalism’s fault. But I’m not going to disagree, lol)

Even by money standards he does stupid stupid things. How much money did he piss away on running Twitter into the ground and telling advertisers to go to hell. If he got the help he obviously needs he could have had it all. And his latest stupidity with the Nazi salute seems to be going down really well in Europe. Tesla sales evaporating in Europe. Just read that Cyber truck has completely flopped (shocking!)
