I often find myself explaining the same things in real life and online, so I recently started writing technical blog posts.

Nice to learn about the SI standard notation KiB, MiB, etc. I had no idea.
KiB and MiB are not SI prefixes but IEC binary prefixes but the names are derived from the SI names for simplicity.
