Yeah I see your point of view. But still, bringing kids into this future? Would they be able to be happy even? All signs points to no at this point.
I dont follow politics but I guess “responsible choice” comes from there? I just look at the world and think about any future a kid would have. At least in America, I would really not get a kid.

I want the tech future to be positive but it just isnt.

Yeah the ones who went that path now can be super happy about it. We have the best desktop in the world.

Good choice to not bring kids into this world.
Anyone who doesnt understand this should find some YouTube videos with young people talking about feeling extreamly unhappy in our societies.
They dont want to be here but their parents got them because they wanted more meaning in their own lives.

If you are evil it is…

Its bouncing back today but yeah, we will see next week…

“Maybe Later”

Stock market had dropped very much this week so maybe its happening.

Its quite late now to learn Linux but its never too late.
Its been my only desktop for like 15 years.

The thing is, they all invested so much into Ai now so they have to use it everywhere even when people dont want it… :)
Its going to wreck the reputation of windows even more…

Its a great starter distro for windows users.

Cant write off something that isnt even in the books…
Hey, I wonder what all those data centers are gonna be used for in the future. “Training Ai”. Right… Right?
I think it can be repaired but it would require an actual human being as a leader. I dont know if you have that over there in politics.
Someone who isnt a huge friend of the billionaries. Actually when I think about it, you will find no such person.
Totally fair. I also dont care if company blocks things i need to do it right.
They are completely random strings for each site, so having one will not help crack the other.
But if people pick their own passwords, it tends to be some word like you wrote, and then a hacker could try and crack the others by guessing similar words.
Ah right. Sorry, I just always used Linux with admin rights since I work in IT.
I think maybe he just meant that the pressure from organisations to make dns services more censored is a reason to run your own dns service.
But I agree with you. The solution is not to stop using public dns services, its to bring attention to things like this and not let it happen in the shadows. Adguard were amazing here and wrote a very good blog post to inform the community.
