The problem is that Firefox desperately needs more users and even those who use the WebKit version are better than nothing. The WebKit version at least gets the name of Firefox out there.

I kinda agree about the photos, but when printing documents, it’s almost always something I need immediately. Going to the library is quite inconvenient.

I bought a used brother laser printer for 15€ and got two 1000 page toner Cartridges for it for 20€. That’s quite a lot of printing for 35€ total and that will be enough for years with my needs. Definitely worth the convenience imo.

Inkjet printers as a whole are a bad investment.

Gta V will probably only be truly “finished” for me when gta 6 comes out (assuming that it’s going to be as good of a game). 10 years later I still keep finding new stuff in it. I really hope 6 can live up to it.

They say it’s beta but beta would imply that it’s at least somewhat close to ready, which it clearly isn’t even after being in “beta” for a long ass time.

I’ll happily pay for content if it’s something I want to watch and it’s a fair deal. Video streaming services are honestly neither of those personally, so fuck them.

But despite most people being against YouTube premium, that’s the one exception for me. Mainly because that’s where all the content and content creators I want to watch are at. I place a lot of value in supporting the creators I watch there. You may argue that paying for their Patreons would be better, but I watch so many great channels that I honestly can’t decide which one to support like that, and with premium they all get at least something from me. Yeah google gets a cut, but such is life. Throw in YouTube music and it’s far from a bad deal from my point of view, especially with the family pricing.

Predatory as in they literally employ psychologists to help design them to be as addictive as they can be, then they market it towards kids or at the very least don’t really do anything to prevent kids from gambling in them (yeah it’s also partially a parenting issue but can’t really expect all parents to be tech savvy enough to understand all everything about gaming).

Then there’s the other sucky, but just not sucky enough for it to be an illegal side of things: games that these mechanics suck ass and we are getting less and less objectively good games because more and more games seek to make some quick buck by making their games casinos of sorts.

It’s only as luxurious as being addicted to cocaine in hopes that the next line will hit like the first one, or in game terms, hoping that the next loot box gets you the skin/character/whatever you wanted and releases that quick dopamine rush. Rinse and repeat.

I guess it makes sense that google lost here, but what doesn’t seem to make sense at all, at least for me, is how on earth apple won when on their platform you literally have no other option than to use apples stuff.

Rockstar has a great track record of their trailers being very close to the final game. Just look at any of their trailers and the final game. There’s not really any reason to believe it will be different this time.
