oh god is taiwan learning to gacha?
… the political prowess of gacha remains to be seen
I wouldn’t say it’s to enter the games industry. It seems to just integrate into Apple the flagship game of their existing Apple Arcade distribution service and guarantee the indie devs some stability.
RAC7 is a two-person studio whose previous credits include indie titles Dark Echo and Splitter Critters. In 2019, the team released Sneaky Sasquatch as an Apple Arcade exclusive. The adventure game was a breakout hit among the service’s 71 launch titles, according to Apple, and it has received regular updates since launch. Now, the team will continue its partnership with Apple as an internal studio.
What’s the news? I don’t trust this guy if he thought it wasn’t known that AI is overdriven pattern matching.
If you redirect it all, it’s not a tiny portion.
The argument is that ICE can always find some rich BlackRock-esque real estate holder that doesn’t give af to host the camp instead if the asker terminates the lease, thus from a utilitarian perspective it’s probably more useful to hold the lease and use the money to lobby against ICE.
I’ll never understand people who apply an extra layer of bold to headings
Isn’t that what the Ethicist column always has been? Philosophy has even historically been a bourgeois subject. (I don’t think people usually put Marxism in philosophy classes.)
Also, I don’t think the response is providing cover. It encourages the question-asker to use this rental income for lobbying against ICE.
That reporting feature lets a user “review a recording of the last three minutes of the latest three GameChat sessions” to highlight a particular section for review, suggesting that chat sessions are not being captured and stored in full. The terms also lay out that “these recordings are available only if the report is submitted within 24 hours,” suggesting that recordings are deleted from local storage after a full day.
Bedrock indeed, but you didn’t even have Bedrock edition before Microsoft, so you can’t really say MS fucked it over since it was always kinda bad. Java has been pretty nice and the “big content updates” direction under Microsoft really rejuvenated the game.
Or OP just likes the independent outlet 404 Media, as I also do. Gizmodo features AI-generated articles (ones with the byline “Gizmodo bot”). It takes a simple adblocker or the bypass paywalls clean extension to bypass the authwall.
No paywall for this article yet: “Sign up for free access to this post”, it’s not a free trial.
Assuming you mean the filibuster: They need 41, actually, and there are some things you can’t filibuster like providing for congressional disapproval and nominations require 51 instead of 50. See https://www.senate.gov/legislative/cloture/119.htm for every time someone decided they might have a chance of breaking filibuster. The only acts that went through are the Laken Riley Act—the first ever—the HALT Fentanyl Act, and the GENIUS Act—which allows the Fed and States to regulate stable crypto—while the only acts that have been passed by senate are the Laken Riley Act and the TAKE IT DOWN Act which counters deepfakes. While the Laken Riley Act should’ve been filibustered IMO, I don’t think any of the others that passed/did not meet filibuster should be stalled just for politics reasons.
(Note that these paragraphs all follow each other without anything between them, though the breaks in the vertical quote bar on the left may imply otherwise.)
What are the further steps needed to comply specified by Patreon or by you? (And your Ad Hominem is completely baseless. Check my post history if you will)
If there were a real issue, Patreon would send a real reply explaining what is needed to Catbox’s screenshotted inquiry instead of boilerplating “you can make a new Patreon in two months if you don’t violate the guidelines”.
Compliance with the law after you’re caught with this type of content isn’t enough
Tell that to Imgur. You’re asking Catbox to have a 100% detection rate which is impossible. How would you make these changes?
they refused
heh‽ where are you getting this from? can i have some? There isn’t even any indication the Patreon has ever been shut down before.
it’s unrelated burmese script
the character represented by chr(sum(range(ord(min(str(not())))))) is way cooler
