For big tough space dudes they sure scream a lot in the books. So dramatic!
Hi, I’m Andrew and sometimes I paint. I have been painting Warhammer since mid 2023 and am learning new things every day.
Open to commissions!

Thanks! I edited it now!
They never do!
Also, I’m dumb, immediately after posting this I realised my mistake on the title. Work in progress progress. I’m tired! Next thing I will be saying ATM machine.
Very true!
Two great things to be into!
Thanks! Hopefully I don’t mess it up haha
Funny! I read it as a Pokemon X Aztec reference with Rayquaza and Quetzalcoatl combined. Either way, it is a cool name.
Haha okay, I was starting to get worried that I would need to strip it and restart.
It’s not that bad is it?
Thanks! I love your username btw
Thanks mate! Will do! I couldn’t stop thinking about painting while at work today, this project has made me really keen to paint.
Thanks!
I have no idea haha. I only started around this time last year and even then, I had so much anxiety about getting it right that I have only managed to paint a handful of models in that time.
I’m just kind of winging it but it seems easier to get to all the little hard to reach areas this way.
Thanks mate!
Thanks, that is very nice of you to say!
I have a bits box but it was just for the extra parts from the models, I will have to start hoarding little objects that seem useful now!
Detol is a great idea and easy to get, I will try that next time.
Another vote for Howling Griffons, maybe my chapter can just not have hot rod flames!
I will order some green stuff now.
Thanks again, so much good advice!
That first one is such a cool idea! I will have to remember that!
And I will try to not strip them fully next time, I was just worried it would show up some how.
Dark Angels are pretty sick, do they have any offshoots that use yellow?
I think I like them for orks or vehicles but not as much on armour but I can see the appeal. Quartered could be interesting!
Thanks! That is so helpful! I wondered if they may have been Firehawks beforehand. I really like the colours but I’m not a huge fan of the hotrod flames haha!
Good point about what materials to use, I have some jewelry chain that I tied around a Khaos marines arm previously, but zip ties are such a good idea.
I will have to watch that video and figure out what paint stripping is available in Aus.
Well if they didn’t want to be made fun of, maybe they shouldn’t have been such babies?
