Did you start with the original Yakuza? Kiwami has a couple things that would feel odd to a newcomer if they don’t play 0, and the only reason you’re skipping Majima Saga here until later is because you moved 0. If you start with 0 then all the context needed for Kiwami 1’s additions and Majima Saga are available.

Plus, to be fair, we have had a massive number of newcomers credit to 0. It’s probably the favorite in the series now.

I mean, they were obviously going to add more modes if they want the game to be AAA. The Original games were basically a 5 minute arcade loop…

It’s the implication. Why would you have problems seeing a disclaimer that not everything in the game is culturally sound? (I just woke up and I can’t remember the correct word but basically…the game has problems, nobody should be uncomfortable that it’s acknowledged)

You seem to have this outlook that because a mod is “silly”, it can’t be removed.

I have the outlook that if it’s so silly nobody should care, then why do you care it was removed?

Not only that, your hyperfixtation on specifically this mod. This is the silly mod you pick.

Am I not supposed to be suspicious that this is the hill you die on? How many small mods get removed from nexusmods on any given day?

If someone cares so much this mod was removed, I am immediately suspicious of that person.

It becomes a question of “How does this benefit you?”

You’ve taken all this time saying “Moderators shouldn’t care”, but then you twist it by saying somebody cares. So why shouldn’t the moderators care?

it’s either a silly mod nobody should care about, or it isn’t. You can’t play both sides to weasel the argument you want.

Yet you care so much about it. Any other “silly” mods you saw pulled today, or just the potentially racist one?

To be fair, only a handful of publishers were able to take their cards and go elsewhere. The media companies were a lot more on top of dragging their products off of Netflix.

Nobody would be on steam just for Valve games, after all, and indie has a much lower barrier of entry.

While they could certainly distribute their current products better, a lot of the issues they have now (see: belated frogs comment) aren’t things they really had control over.

It’s probably because I generally saw the sub shutdowns as a result of the protest, and not as an ongoing protest. Reddit clearly wasn’t in any talks with the mods at that point and vica versa.

Honestly i’ll just go with it being months. I’m basically just arguing semantics at this point.

But it’s not as if things went back to the way they were either. There were definitely effects due to those weeks.

Is it hidden? I remember it being pretty popular when it came out.

On the bright side, it looks (based on what I can tell) that things calmed down and the guy he was talking to took it fairly well.

Didn’t the animal tests lead to pretty bad deaths? And wasn’t that less than a year ago? I can’t imagine this going well.

Plus there was the blind-tech that was revealed not too long ago where now that they’re bankrupt the group is slowly going blind and worse. I feel like none of this is going to end well.

So really you’re only playing moderator because you’re for it, and don’t want people to vote against it.

First person games

I think Portal is the only one I’m fine with, probably because there’s not as much action. First person puts me on edge and not in a way that I really appreciate. I also really like to be able to see the character in general.

To that end I also don’t really like horror games, but I don’t think that’s as divisive an opinion.

Meanwhile someone will be eating gummies to cure themselves of some modern disease instead of using actual science-proven medication.

Mainly Genshin/HSR/Arknights

Just finished Yakuza Gaiden so not much to do. Was great to play Gaiden though, it was invigorating to not feel like I was on a daily grind.

A lot of my gameplay is gated by friend availability atm, and they have not been available.

It will absolutely spoil. Ichiban’s partner is the main character of the original 0-6

Plus the Yakuza series really doesn’t care about spoiling. They will do what they need to catch up players who don’t care about that. So if they want to do a story point that requires spoilers, they will just tell you what happened.

I mean, VR is a thing still. It’s just still niche at the moment. I don’t think it has to be the main way to enjoy entertainment.

That said, I’m pretty sure the glasses you want are AR, not VR (Augmented reality)

It’d be nice to trace an artwork back to it’s source. But I don’t think this is actually practical.

So basically they’re protecting you from something that’s only possible, because of something they shouldn’t have done.
