To be fair, a lot of movie theaters ban bringing in outside food. At least in my experience. I agree with just not eating though. It would certainly be healthier to decouple moviegoing from snacking.

Because that would entail extra effort and cost in order to benefit humanity in general, and why do that when they can just keep more profit for themselves?

In my case it was a music composition app (Xewton Music Studio) that used to have both Android and iOS versions, but then some other company bought them out and discontinued the Android version.

I still have my old phone since it has at least one paid app on it that was removed from the Play store. I can’t download the app I paid money for to my new phone, but I can still use the copy installed on my old phone.
Realizing this has completely dissuaded me from spending money on apps, but that’s a whole other thing…

Is it possible to convert an existing Home installation to a Pro installation without completely wiping the system and reinstalling everything?

Can those services and registry keys be disabled on Home editions as well?

Guessing that LLM will be named Comrade
Steam Controller is a flawed masterpiece that I wish we had gotten another iteration of.
Also, speaking of the 8bitdo Pro 2 line, the wired Xbox version of the Pro 2 is pretty great. It’s similar to the regular Pro 2, but it has analog triggers, uses Xinput, and has Xbox coloring and branding. It’s like they took the best parts of Xbox, SNES, and Playstation controllers and mushed them all together.
Thanks, I hadn’t heard about this until now and was able to grab a copy.

Came here to mention Loria as well. I like to call it “Warcraft 2.5”

Musical chairs, Nazi shit edition

I’m also still incredibly salty about this. The Quake 1 and 2 remasters also are a huge contrast to how the Unreal franchise has been handled.
I recently got my gog copy of UT2004 running on my Steam Deck. It was a huge pain in the ass that I could have circumvented by buying a Steam copy… but of course that’s no longer an option. I guess Epic doesn’t want easy money from their old games.

Valve has already started talking to press outlets about their plans for a Steam Deck 2 in two to three years.

“Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain”
Might be a UK thing. Here in the US I don’t think I’ve ever been to a theater that allowed any outside food or drink. I doubt it’s because of safety, I’m pretty sure it’s because it would cut into their profits from concession stand sales.
