A simple task such as sending a request with GPS information constantly won’t do shit. You’d be surprised how much android sends in the background.
It’s not really designed to solve anything. It just exists. The cool thing about it is advertisements are not possible natively. There is also no JS. So no creepy ass trackers. It’s basically like the very early days where JS or CSS was not a thing. Just markdown. With the additional security and privacy stuff of the modern web like encryption.
Yeah, I’ve been using Rust with Leptos and Axum for a website I’ve been working on. Works great tbh. I don’t even know JS.
Discord has an alternative called Revolt that is open source. It has all the premium features in discord for free, but is still in early stages I’d say.
OOP is nice. Why do people hate it?
Is running a SMTP server a pain in the ass? Like hard to maintain?

I agree. But using Windows XP these days is a huge security risk. W10 not getting security updates at least for the next 2 years is probably something that can be overlooked, but it will at some point be vulnerable to automatic attacks like XP. I’m sure there are some websites on the web that try to automatically exploit some major exploits that have been lrft unfixed in Windows XP. I’d advise them to switch to Linux Mint or something instead of using that old vulnerable system.
Yeah KDE Plasma looks and functions alot like W10.
Excited to see the increase in Linux desktop usage.
This was years ago…
Would be nice if authors could see the amount of stars their content has.
Agreed.
Oh well, that works then.
true. Though I don’t know how you’d lock it behind biometrics.
BTC is not private. XMR is actively being used mainly on the darknet because of its superior privacy guarantees. BTC is mostly sold and bought just like investments.
I agree. Every crypto except XMR seems to be only seen as an investment to make more money.
I agree. I find Rust’s syntax much better than Go’s.
