That’s what people have said, but when you look at the objects being replicated on the show you see that it isn’t true.

Replicator technology is so overpowered that star trek almost always steers clear of actually using it for anything useful, so I’m not sure why they decided to do it in this one episode. Like with replicator technology you could have an essentially infinite number of enterprises, or make a million billion defiants. You could build a self-replicating clown car and quickly bury the entire surface of a planet in a pile of clown cars that’s 3 miles high.

Why would the loser of a competition have insider info about what the winner did to win? Doesn’t make much sense.

iirc battery function management is supposed to happen at a firmware level. So hypothetically it shouldn’t be effected by what os you install. I think what you experienced was just a byproduct of keeping it plugged in 24/7

We weren’t all saying copyright altogether was unfair. In fact i think most of us have always said copyright law should exist, just that it shouldn’t be like ‘lifetime of the creator plus another 75 years after their death’. Copyright should be closer to how it was when the law was first started, which is something like 20 years.

(And personally imo there should also be some nuanced exceptions too.)
