used a buddy’s purifier last night and it took ~4-5 shots i think to bring one down. not sure it has many other redeeming qualities yet. I’ll have to unlock mine and play it more.
Blood rain, giblets, and warm bullet casings
Mild, sharp, and sharper cheese tastings
Metal dudes shredding their taut guitar strings
These are a few of my favorite things

unless that vendetta is so strong he’s policing your purchases and won’t play with you, crossplay is already confirmed.
Thank you. Refresh my memory, but wasn’t the whole reason Jellico took over due to Picard being hand picked for a… military special operation?
Yeah, that’s not how the military works at all. Maybe in business management, but not military. People seem to forget Starfleet is just that. The commander has a philosophy (that they will often draft a letter about when they assume command) and the unit adapts to it. People used to that are a little more understanding of Jellico and recognize that dread the enterprise crew had when they realized how good they had it under Picard.
Came to say golden souls as well. Just started recently and it’s impressive and fun as hell. There is also a 2 released and recently announced working on 3 I believe.
I don’t think who you play with will affect your enjoyment. I maintain HD1 as being one of my favorite coop games of all time with an overwhelmingly solid community. I think that largely carried over to 2, even with the boom. The biggest barrier to enjoyment is the game itself right now. But, being new, maybe the little things that irk people with hundreds of hours won’t impact you before they get fixed.
As a newbie, it will be a “don’t know what you’re missing” situation. As long as you’re in the lucky group not affected by performance issues and some of the more outrageous bugs, it should be a good time. But if you’re not in a hurry or facing a sale, I’d recommend waiting a bit longer to see if this upcoming patch addresses any of those tech problems.
That’s not really true unless it has evolved since it first appeared. It used to just mean saying/doing something from the place of ignorance or privilege of being white or even just some weird shit like what midwesterners get up to when they dream up new “casseroles.” It was a fun word for use on reaction social media and memes. I hope it hasn’t come to describing white supremacy, an unfortunate trend for too many things these days.
Yes. I use it as my first step for sailing. See if it’s on a service I have then grab the imdb identifier if it’s not. Very handy if you sail old school manually like I do.
Justwatch.com is my go to
Cerement linked it in their comment
I came to sarcastipost this under the parent comment, but you seem to have unironically beaten me to it.
For now.
I don’t, but it sounds exactly like every other time this exact thing happens.
And Doom. Don’t forget Doom
Well well well, if it isn’t the consequences of my own actions.
I, apprehensively, hope it’s still just part of their growing pains. It boggles my mind to see sequels, time and again, leave behind good features and qualities that there were no reasons to drop. Load outs being a thing in HD1 but not 2 is frustrating. But I’m mainly referencing the galactic war. It was much less interactive on a granular level with no major orders or personal orders. But higher difficulties gave greater contribution to the war and you got a great sense of how your playtime actually affected the effort. Whether or not they are still tweaking numbers behind the scenes is debatable and they surely will never tell us since they love not telling us shit. But it really doesn’t feel like any particular time I play has any bearing on anything like it did in HD1. Best hope I can have is that we’ll get there eventually. Or maybe not and we just play this story out as they wrote it.
I can confirm the reports of the AMR scope being fixed are true. Why they never acknowledge this as a bug nor reported it as fixed is beyond our puny human brains. But that and the 30% damage buff makes AMR users happy pandas.
Based on the timing of this post I’m gonna say it was Steam maintenance since it hit me too, right as I dropped in a mission. Plenty of shit to give the game, but people not knowing about Steam Tuesday maintenance isn’t part of that shit.
And the science gets done, and you make a neat gun
For the people who are still alive
If you’re desperate enough and have a tough time getting a good group that can handle 7+, doing bug blitz missions (12min) is actually the way to go. The rock will spawn, you roll light for speed and hunt for it, which may take as much as all your time. Then use the emergency shuttle to extract immediately and bypass the extract chaos. This is a soloable, probably-not-going-to-complete-the-main-mission strat. Like I said, for desperation mainly. Your democracy officer does not recommend making this a habit.
it doesn’t help that the known issues now list “bile titans sometimes just don’t take damage.” Explains…a lot actually
