I’m good. Not really interested in supporting Hasbro after all that’s happened since BG3 released.

This has been 100% true for me. I started working from home at the beginning of the pandemic and haven’t gone back. I lost 45 pounds in the first year and have managed to keep it off since. It’s all because I can eat better by making my own meals at home.
Sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day is also bad for you so what’s the point. This bullshit propaganda is really starting to get old. Working from home is better for a lot of people. Corporation need to get over it.
I do if I’m feeling under the weather. I have a bed that can be raised into a seated position so that’s nice. I prefer my desk when I’m doing more mentally intensive work though.
I just wanted a remake of the original game. Instead they split it into multiple games as a cash grab. I stopped caring after the first one.
This hits way too close to home. Had something similar happen last week. I knew the task would be simple but didn’t realize I needed a different API key to test it locally. Lucky my boss is also a slacker like me.
You did tell me what you did to see the eclipse in your follow up comment, which showed me what you thought was worth it. It seems like you are taking more offense than was implied. My question was simply to learn what the effort was.
As for my personal feelings I don’t need help. I’ve seen a total solar eclipse and know what effort I would go through to see another. There isn’t even an argument her. I was simply looking for clarification which you provided in your follow up.
The comment said “worth it” without specifying what it was worth. That was the reason for me asking what worth it meant. Was it worth traveling? Paying for a flight? Taking a day off? Simply walking outside? The effort to see it is relevant to know what it means when they said “worth it.” Hope that helps you understand.
I saw the 2017 one and I’m curious what you mean by worth it? Like, worth the effort to go outside and look up? I personally wouldn’t go out of my way to see it again. It was cool but not, $1000 dollar for a campsite cool.
It’s a net sum to me. The harm they have done to our society and planet far outweigh and good that has come with it. Technology isn’t inherently evil but these tech companies that only care about profit at all cost are.
Since when have any of these tech companies done anything but change the world for the worse?
If JavaScript implements type safety then I believe it will go away. If not then it will continue to be used.
Me too! I like to browse all to see new communities. The difference is that I don’t find it annoying. When I come across a new community I block it. At this point it’s only once a week or so that I find one.
My understanding is that the micro transactions can mostly be earned in game for free. That aside I have taken a stance and refuse to play any game that has them. They are cancer for gaming and I don’t want to support it in any form.
Awesome! Not bashing the game but the cyberpunk genre just doesn’t appeal to me. Really looking forward to this. I’m hoping they go with a different Witcher though.
I think that we need regulations on AI to protect citizens. Corporations are training AI off of workers/citizens data and they will use it to eliminate jobs without paying us for our contributions. Right now companies like SpaceX and Amazon want to replace workers with AI trained robots to reduce costs and that will be detrimental to the working class. I don’t believe that AI is bad. I believe corporations are evil by nature and need to be controlled.
If we allow corporations to control AI we are in for a bad time. I’m not interested in seeing these examples thanks.
It literally won game of the year when it came out. How does that make it underrated?
Larian seems like a great company. This is exactly the type of game studio that we should be supporting with our money. I loved BG3 because of them, not because of the D&D licence.
I’m replaying the first Fallout since the show release and as much as I love it the controls suck. I would like to see a remaster that fixes that. Graphics are fine to me though.
