I can see supplies extending longer than they thought with their refurbishing program being as popular as it is (they don’t stay in stock very long)
I just can’t trust innovations and discoveries coming from China, I’m excited, but I’ll hold my breath until it’s been replicated by a less untrustworthy source
I do about 80% of the time, and I try to be genuine in my approximations, and I will adjust them as more information comes in.
And if I promise you over 100%, it’s something that I’m really excited about and that if you bail there’s x% chance I’m going to not let you out of it, or find someone to fill in your roll.
And the independent is garbage enough to give it to them
Gotta try much harder than that, and the text spam is unbearable, who do you want to target with this? It’s so unreadable it may be damaging to your brand.
I’ve never felt one under water, nor did I try to go skin deep when I had my opportunity, but I would guess they’re pretty dry under there, I couldn’t say for sure though.
Sounds like you have a bit of a hate boner.
Their fur is very dense, otter fur has more hairs per square inch than any other mammal, a million per square inch, like a hundred times what humans have. The oils excreted into their fur creates a hydrophobic layer that keeps the water on the outside. It’s in nowhere near shark skin (which exhibits incredibe hydrodynamics, like we’re studying it in labs to better improve aerodynamics of cars and planes, a single bite of food is enough to get a great white shark from California to Japan their skin is so efficient at moving through water), but it’s very good at keeping the water out and their movement efficient, their hair does not cause Resistance like human hair does. Our hair hangs out and gets water in it and creates drag, otter hair seals itself around the meat and creates a cylinder, keeping happy warm dry otter inside.
I got the treat of touching/petting a wild otter while it was sedated, it’s on of my top 10 experiences. It was not a happy camper when it woke up. It had to be in an ice bath while sedated otherwise it’s hair/fur coat would’ve caused it to overheat while being knocked out because it is incapable of homeostatic regulation while sedated. When it woke up it was a wild otter in an ice bath, lil (haha, huge actually) dude was pissed.
Where are you getting 1600p screens that are 9 inches diagonal?
And what hardware are you using that puts 1600p into a 9 inch screen? Sounds a lot like overkill, or bigger numbers for the sake of having bigger numbers.
Overwhelming the noise is another option, a white noise soundtrack might be a decent bet. Otherwise you’re going to want to go with ear plugs.
You’re asking for twice as much noise into your ears?
I’m certain there are recordings of background noise, but none of it will do what you’re asking. It’d be like trying to cancel a recording of your voice by talking over it. A fun experiment to get the grandkids to do when they go home. Better yet, on the car ride home.
I’ve never had resolution complaints on my handheld screen. There’s been scaling troubles and other graphics shortcomings, but resolution has never been a problem, how close are you holding the deck to your face?
That’s a shame, my favorite way of gaming on the deck (outside of some console port games) is Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, I play 4x and grand strategy games, along with many games that are “have not been tested for the deck”. This new thing looks like it would be a huge pain because you’re either going to have to play it while looking down at it on a hard surface, or you’re going to be imparting motion on the device every time you try to use the keys (or the keys will be so soft that they’re prone to sticking/errant inputs).
My only trouble with Bluetooth m+kb on the deck is some games refuse to acknowledge you’re not using the controls, and will pop up the keyboard interface every time a text entry box is opened, that’s annoying but most games don’t force that.
It’s as if this headline were written to stir discussion on lemmy.
Going to let an unannounced games rumored genre ruin your day?
Gamers need to set a better image of themselves.
Love my plushie, haven’t played but maybe 3-4 hours since acquiring it a decade ago, still have the plushie though.
Man, I was taught “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” but you’re burying it by it’s genre, I hope you can experience new things once in a while .
Comparing the games in this video and my wish list, planet crafter apparently!
