Funny thing, even if you do that you can be prevented from initializing the device. You get a “this phone was reset in an unusual way, sign in to the original account used for setup” message the may or not hint at an email address. I’ve got a stack of them on my desk from former employees that I’m trying to get back into. Pain in the ass for business, good for consumers.
I had this same thing happen when I tried to sign up years ago. There is no way around it, there is no alternative. The only option is to send them pictures of your ID, which is in the “hell no” category on my to do list.
I’m not certain I want to know what this means. I kinda love the idea that this is just an idiom that is or was common. Is it modern? Ancient? Could be either, could be both!

Frustratingly, those are actually two separate plans.
I’ve learned to flip it the other way. If there isn’t anyone coming, sure, pass going 60. If there is, i’m probably doing 65-70 just long enough to pass the 55. It minimizes the time I spend in someone’s way and allows me to return to my comfort zone as quickly as possible. It also allows the 55 to not have anyone riding them and the 70+ to sail on past.
Is it legally correct? Nope. Is it effective? Yup. Does it allow me to set my cruise at the speed limit and ignore most people most of the time? Hell yes.

You can, it’s just got a lot of hoops to jump through. Easier in the pro version for work, but I just set the email to a@a.a and then it errors out before letting you make a local account.

Could be very interesting. They did great with the remakes and if the same level of detail and passion could be applied with some new ideas and a modern view on game design, this could be incredible.

Yeah, very worried. Why would they purchase something unless they thought it would be profitable? I don’t want profitable software, I want fairly priced software.
I tried out podman at first, but I found many docker instances simply provide a string of crap instead of explanations. It was easy to get a grasp of how docker worked, and now that I have an idea I feel like I could jump into podman better.
I could see saving presets, but having the computer assume would be like when you search for something online and it returns a bunch of results that are ALMOST what you want.
Maybe if you just say “Tea” the most common result is a T-shirt or a T pipe. It feels a lot like adding “buy” to a search to clarify you want to purchase something instead of researching it.
Having the computer intuitively know what you want when you request something would require a perfect understanding of your mind and how it operates. Now do that for every single person who may use the device. Yikes!
Getting lunch at 12:30: long lines, long wait times, too many people, waste most of your break time.
Getting lunch at 11:30: short lines, get food quickly, avoid the crowd, eat sandwich at a park and enjoy the sunshine.
The moves only make sense if you know what game they’re playing. In this case, there aren’t any ads in the comments, so why would they want you to spend time there?
