Surely she wouldn’t lie, would she? /s

Our Linux patch had not only been rejected but had apparently been the final straw for Linus Torvalds, who announced in a profanity-laden email that he was removing all Rust code from the kernel.
“I’ve had it,” his email read. “At least C developers know when they’re drunk.”
lol
I heard the graphics are really good. And the framerates extremely high. But there are mosquitoes so it’s probably not worth it.
That’s way too non-convoluted enough
I wanted to get into Mastodon, but I can see why it didn’t take off as much compared to Bluesky. It didn’t prepopulate the home feed on first sign up (it was empty), and only gives a small selection of people to follow and you only see their posts. Bluesky does a similar thing, but the home feed uses suggestions based on the people you initially follow to populate the home feed with others as well.
I think mass adoption would be easier for Mastodon to achieve with that kind of algorithmically generated prepopulation.
Also obligatory Fuck X.
The biggest thing for me is being able to use my entire Steam Library (games accumulated over a decade) without having to repurchase any games. That alone was worth it. It handles a lot of games really well with only minor tweaks in the settings needed for some of them.
Well that was super painless. Downloaded my .json settings, imported, and it’s like nothing even happened. All sublemmy communities I was subscribed to before have migrated successfully.
I dunno. A sport that uses balls? Never gonna be popular.
Nothing can compete with Basketcube, Basetetrahedra, or Foottesseract.
