More like, “Shoving it in so fast it makes the sauce in the battery super heat and create a bomb”
These chatbots are AI - They tailor responses over time so long as previous messages are in memory, showing a limited level of learning
The issue is these chatbots either:
A) Get so little memory that they effectively don’t even have short term memory, or
B) Are put in situations where that chat memory learning feature is moot
They are AI, they are just stupidly simple and inept AI that barely qualify
Man, who’d have guessed that the thing that would potentially slow eventual AI dominance are companies rushing to use it? All the horror and scifi stories implied rushing would be what CAUSES it
Went with the Yahoo! link as they are guaranteed to not have some sort of paywall that pops out of nowhere. Also because the Insider used a video, so this is an actual word transcription
Also wut
Well of course it’s not the onion. It’s poison oak!
I know the UK doesn’t have a big sue culture, but I can not imagine this wouldn’t result in lawsuits if somebody unrelated to the crime dies due to their pacemaker stopping
And then piracy will be the only way to play as people do NOT like to deal with Denuvo (and for good reason)
I think it would be better if they made their own instance that worked akin to Mastodon. Then they are always in control of it and people can use whatever Fediverse account to follow
In terms of their mentality, I mean

Part of the problem is they apply Japanese copyright law to an international level. Wouod be cool if they hit the wrong target, got sued for trying to apply their laws to the world stage, and got matched each time they appealed until their war chest got drained dry
Ah, so I had it the opposite way. Thanks for the explanation
Yes, let’s further acidify the oceans. No way that could go wrong
lol it has almost nothing on me. Even has my relationship status wrong
ADHD - The ultimate Info Tracking killer
Ah, thanks for the correction
Apparently it’s not even Nintendo, but trolls. Just that this is such a Nintendo thing to do that GMod doesn’t want to even risk it
EDIT: So the domain is owned by MarkMonitor, a service that monitors for copyright infringement and sends DMCAs. Nintendo HAS used them before. So that clears up any confusion there
Huh. Well, there is one other reason as well:
They have apparently revived deleted accounts and puppeted them/gave them away (which honestly just waiting for that shit to happen in EU by accident and them getting sued to hell and back for it), so this way I can keep control
Thanks for that info though. Shame people are downvoting you for sharing that
Because I prefer having my comments written over multiple times (to prevent rolling back) advertising Lemmy, Fedia, Kbin, etc.
Why delete my account when I can have it be a billboard for here?
Basically, Google trying to kill adblockers internet wide via containing addons in restrictive containers. Firefox and anything branched off of it are the only browsers not jumping on. Google apparently starting it up now with V3
