The way the various shows handle the holodeck is pretty similar as well. It can generate environments and stories for you, but sometimes it makes crazy mistakes, and over time, it’s made clear that custom programs made by real authors are of higher quality. It even has guardrails that frequently fail.
The replicator is the same idea. It makes good-enough food, but a real chef with real ingredients has a higher ceiling for quality.
There’s a quote from a character in Generations, “We believe that when you create a machine to do the work of a man, you take something away from the man.” It aligns with the Federation’s ideal of self improvement, and in a post-scarcity utopia, I think it makes sense. Without intellectual property, environmental concerns, or the need to work for a living, AI isn’t so terrible. It’s just important you maintain your own motivation to better yourself. Too bad we’re so far behind on all those parts

This is why Boimler keeps a statue of Archer by his bed

Neelix just collapsed one day, because his lung ascended into energy to be with Suspiria

Every time you die, or are replaced by something like an alternate universe duplicate, your seniority resets

People like Dukat more than Polaski, and I’m pretty sure, by the end of DS9, he was actually the devil. That’s what you get for being mean to Data

Technically also gay! 👍

By the Picard episode, he has probably already gone back in time to kill himself

He did end up in a bar fight with a group of Klingons though, so it was a close one

They also have separate crew options for fully Klingon and fully Human B’Elanna. Personally, I’m hoping we can become the Silver Blood ship. I want to see if I can get them to Earth before they turn to goop

Ezri seems pretty NB-coded to me, especially in the context of the setting

Step 2 is the Reunification of Ireland
It’s called frogging when you undo stitches in fiber arts. So maybe frogging a woman is ripping out her weave

O’Brien does it every day, and you don’t hear him bragging

Level 1 is the “make sure everything is plugged in” level

An artistic depiction of a Vulcan’s head, Superimposed over a primitive metallic fastening device.
This is illogical.

If this hasn’t been tilt-cropped, would I be seeing an iFunny watermark? 😂

I mean, yeah, that’s how we prepare for disasters. We just need to find it all better

There are definitely things AI is good for. Archival search is obviously the biggest, because that’s what we’ve been using it for decades. It can also be helpful for subterranean and medical imaging, and art restoration. But the companies selling it want to sell a Magic 8 Ball with ads
A Canadian cartoon about caring bears for kids sounds like exactly the kind of thing that would exist in the Federation. It would just be on the Holodeck
