Sealing / unsealing is 100% FOMO and I have seen people go “Ivara Prime is out now I need to play Warframe”. You can easily setup a system where you choose a rotation to go for when choosing a mission. It wouldn’t even split the playerbase since it only affects the rewards at the end. But they don’t, they do this song and dance about removing and bringing back specific weapons and warframes.
The thing about Warframe is it tempts you but doesn’t force you to buy. You can sell your time to people who paid actual money, and then buy things you want for that money. The only issue with Warframe is the fomo - them locking warframes behind relics that are “deprecated”. Sometimes they unearth them again, but it’s an artificial attempt at “I need to buy this or it is gone”.
Also the process of getting parts is 100% gambling on low odds. You can get lucky immediately or have to “reroll” by running the same relic over and over and over again. It sucks if you want a very specific thing and often leads to people just buying it outright.
Gog doesn’t have this. They specifically market it that you get to download a binary install and keep the game forever.

I just watched the episode where she has the biggest issues with allying to some faction that kept attacking them. Then she gets “a talking to” from the first officer and the security officer going “bruh we just got our asses kicked, this aint the alpha quadrant we need this”. So the solution is to ally themselves with the first other faction they come across - a deus ex machina fleet of previously unknown oppressors of the faction that kept attacking them.
Apparently the dealbreaker is “the oppressors who enslaved an entire race trying to assassinate the leaders of the other faction they used to enslave”
Prime suggestion all the way. They really tried to make it “the sensible choice” in the early seasons, and they failed so hard at it that it’s rolled over from “funny” to “eyeroll” again

As I said multiple times - doxxing can use public databases and social media to gather that information. Read the wikipedia definition, it is right there.
Imagine a vtuber posting a photo on their private facebook. Then their neighbors grabbing that photo, knowing they are said vtuber, going to the fandom, linking the photo as “this is the vtuber, they live at XYZ”. Would you still go “oh that’s not doxxing, they posted their faces on the internet that one time!”? Of course you wouldn’t.

Read up on the wikipedia definition of doxxing. It states plainly - it can be done from public databases or from social media, and that the goal is often to shame someone. This fits 100%. Otherwise you could argue that “it’s not doxxing, I just went through this guys comments and he slipped up and said that he lives in X city, then posted a photo that let me triangulate his exact location in the city from landmarks”. It is doxxing and a criminal act.

You are literally arguing semantics on something that is obviously doxxing because you don’t like the fact that someone got doxxed that you don’t like. And yes, this post contains private information. It contains the information of “these are this guys parents” which would only be known to the select few neighbors at best. Furthermore, it contains information about their political beliefs. So yes, it absolutely is doxxing with the intention of shaming the parents. The info doesn’t need to be completely private and hidden - aggregating info from public databases or facebook counts as well.
You don’t commit crimes against people because “they support maga”. Otherwise what you are doing is legitimizing them committing crimes against you, because you aren’t maga. Let the courts handle this, not public opinion, and defo not public opinion aimed at the parents of the perp.
There are various warframes that work completely different when they are prime. And yeah, you spending so much time with the game makes it that the things that it does bad seem normal to you.
