Which button is the retaliate button?
My only regret.
Don’t worry, I got the actual match.
The laugh he makes when practicing stabbin’ is easily my favorite. Anytime I hold a knife I get in a few practice stabs and cackle.
Looking around online, further rumors seem to lean towards it being a Federation origin film.
That would put us in ENT era, but I don’t see them following the existing canon. Maybe following a non-Enterprise ship to recruit an early but non-founding planet. The origin in this case being about how the Federation first expanded.
The other option could be picking up right after First Contact. How mankind adapts to learning about the Vulcans.
I just don’t see either of those films getting greenlit.
I have a thought.
Men love it when you really glob it on.
If Notepad is getting AI text editing then it’s as good as dead too.

Me? Really?
Sure, but my first month of Lemmy was via the web. I still use Mastodon on the web (no app). Whenever I find myself on Reddit (via search) it’s web only. If someone sends me a random YouTube link, I open it in the web. On the off chance someone sends me a random TikTok link, web only.
Again I don’t use any of these apps, but if someone sends me a loops link and it says install the app, I’ll just ignore it.
Honestly that’s great news, but wouldn’t a web version have made wayyyyyyy more sense?
So far, there is only some user settings accessible in the web interface. I don’t have an iPhone, hence I cannot say for their app. The android app will come later, apparently.
I don’t give a shit about TikTok or short form video but legitimately how is this expected to succeed with these limitations? Clearly people like this stuff but can a fediverse service really afford to be iPhone only? This truly seems doomed to fail.
We’re also a sit outside house. Luckily October is pretty warm nowadays (wait…)
we can get random experts chiming in about interesting topics
Lol we have that now… just be sure to phrase your question in the form of a Linux distro.
But to be serious I do think we’re heading that way, but it’s going to take a long time, likely as long as it took Reddit (if not longer).
The article we’re talking about?
Those dropped from the maintainer list
I always knew Sakurai worked hard to deliver high quality games, but after watching this video, it’s insane.
Creating a whole YouTube channel with 260 videos just because he had a few free months. Doing the majority (pre editing) in just a few months, scripting and recording nearly ever video in advance.
Absolutely wild.
I know that’s a direct quote from the developer, but I disagree that is what actually happened.
It seems clear to me the prototype did more heavy lifting than he’s giving credit. He clearly had an established vision beginning with the prototype. He spent three years thinking 3D was the best way to achieve that goal, but that goal was clearly based on the prototype. At some point it was clear that 3D was drifting away from the core, so the switch to 2D and a renewed focus was the answer.
It’s also clear that they had a distinct art style in mind from the start.
And that existing engines couldn’t meet that distinct art style.
That home-brew engine is what gives the game its unique look and can allow for unique game elements, but that initial prototype was clearly the guide.
