I just watched that ep and wondered the same thing, especially when that Romulian flew through the wall!
why wouldn’t we just skip the AI and go to the other source first?
Because they went ahead and fucked up search first to take care of that.
Yeah but what if we unleash an evil AI on the universe? Our mess spilling over and fucking up nature again.
Sorry I made this before Drake was a certified lover boy certified pedophile.
I just saw this but with a toilet paper roll under the toilet seat when alone.

This is my favorite episode of TOS! All of it, but especially his acting at the end. Very human, very touching.
I can’t speak to whether this is true, but Musk did later that day announce that the Robotaxi release will be August 8th, which he’s always said is going to be on the same platform. I don’t see why they wouldn’t also make the “model 2” once they are to scale since not all people want to use / will trust robotaxi at first. But any announcements they make on this car before they can actually deliver will take sales away from their models available now.
“Well believe our approach is the most sustainable and scalable moderation model that exists online today. We are continually investing in and iterating on new tools and policies to improve our internal capabilities,” the Reddit spokesperson said.
That’s not what mods say.
That was the moment when I was like, “This Ryker guy is amazing. He gives no effs, just goes with it.”
Another great thing about watching TOS first is it really gives you perspective on how Starfleet has grown as an organization over the years. The protocol changes, new alliances, old enemies, etc. There’s a great reference in one of the early TNG eps about the prime directive that makes more sense if you’ve watched TOS (or are a Starfleet officer).
I, admittedly, watched about 1/2 of Voyager first, but I recommend going through the franchise chronologically if you have time. There are some bad/tiresome eps of all the generations, so maybe check and episode guide if an ep gets boring to see if it’s skippable, but there are enough amazing TOS eps that I’m glad I didn’t skip that generation. And it’s great seeing the similarities and juxtaposition of the old and the new.
I can’t say I agree with all of these - I’m glad I watched Angel One for… reasons…
Thanks for this. I’m starting TNG right now, and I’m wondering about the eps my SO says are skippable, so this is helpful. Also, I’m on season 2 and the finale is a 0?! Wow, that’s surprising! Looks like it really picks up in season 3 tho, so excited!
Sadly, I live in the USA.

Midwest.social is left and federates with most everyone.
Do you actually need bakery muffins? You know you could make your own for half the price!
William Campbell is my favorite, too. His characters were all so over the top.
TNG spoilers:
Hey, was he one of the Q? Just never revealing himself?! Playing with this great starship captain for amusement.
