I bought an expensive Samsung microwave thinking it would outlast the cheaper ones. The thing actually started to rust in the first few months something not even the cheapest microwaves have done on me.
Last Samsung appliance I’ll ever buy luckily I’m in the UK and got my money back.
All I want from an Os is to launch my programs of choice and not suck up my battery running unnecessary junk I couldn’t care less about.

I remember being downvoted heavily on Reddit when I called this stupid mostly down to how limited it is and the silly subscription.
Kinda hoping now all those downvoters purchased one because they deserve it.
Call me skeptical I guess but if you wanted a phone that worked as long as lithium say 5000mah using capacitors I think it would be a dozen times larger at least.
Maybe I’ve got it wrong and supercapacitors hold more energy or something like that.
I’d be more suspicious of the router manufacturer or even a disgruntled worker there than anyone else to be honest. An actual hacker I think would be more motivated to turn them into a botnet or similar.
Can’t think of why someone would want to brick them without another motive but I could be wrong.
And I was blown away the ps1 game Vagrant Story turned Into 90mb file as a chd.
That said one of the games I enjoyed most even when I had an Amiga was a 48k ZX Spectrum game called Chaos.
A Stremio plugin using this would be nice I keep needing to change mine almost on a monthly basis for some reason.
It’s a bit too restrictive by default imo, good for privacy but you will need to change quite a few setting if you want to browse normally.
Despite my opinion it’s the browser I use most on my laptop.
I had a friend whose family owned a video store, while it wasn’t exactly legal he could get me copies of everything and they were completely perfect Pirates.
I mean covers, labels and the actual tapes. They had specialised machines for all of it and they did it pretty perfectly.
Ive tried doing it myself by linking two machines together and the results were watchable but not on the same level as the machines he was using.
Pretty much everything AI is a scam, I mean it has its uses but isn’t exactly as claimed yet. Pretty much every non phone AI gadget I’ve seen so far definetly is a scam.
One of the reasons but not the main one I cancelled Netflix (to be honest I just thought the originals were bad and any I actually gave a a chance they cancelled almost immediately).
But yeah their selling thing like 4k at a premium and making it almost impossible to ever actually use it. Better off just pirating.

That said I still use Google just don’t trust it really I’ve always felt it was an intelligence company in truth and probably the echelons replacement.
Google’s a dumb ass company and I strongly suspect them to be Americas replacement to the echolon program mainly due to the timing.
Seems profits getting a bit more relevant than intelligence to them these days.
Yeah I’d rather go without YouTube than deal with the ads at this point they went ridiculous with it a long time ago.
What this really is, is only a shortcut to the chatgpt app, they’ve just made a widget which doesn’t even do anything the official chatgpt widget doesn’t.
How this is described as integrated is nonsense and more a publicity grab than anything else.
It really is just an oversized widget that just launches chatgpt.
I hope they do I bought a nothing phone 1 after reading promises of how they wouldn’t move to another phone until they had everything right etc.
Not only did they not keep it but after launching the 2 almost right after this claim they actively sabotaged the 1 the camera got worse the battery got way worse and thing is now super unstable and I really believe it’s on purpose as custom roms make the phone great.
The company is dead to me but I am kinda enjoying seeing the phone 2 users now complain because they are starting to get the same treatment now.
Yeah now I’m never buying a roku I think when amazon eventually manages to wreck my cube (which they really seem to be trying to) I’ll have to try something like a raspberry pi or maybe a small ryzen card.
I’m really not sure but The one thing I’ve decided is to take it out of another company’s hands.
I prefer them as well but if I want to keep something I usually encode to 576p I still don’t really see any difference on my displays and it’s just something I’ve been doing since I first tried encoding for the Sony Vita.
