Mostly my mental health.
I’m looking forward to joining the dozens with my nexto phone v
I was going to go with, “I’m ok with rape” but yours works too.
I grew up in upstate NY so I’m no stranger to deer. This was something else. We were driving through the Winding Staircase mountain and there were hundreds of them. My wife kept screaming and grabbing my arm while I was driving until I had to stop in the middle of the (empty except for us and the deer) road to calmly explain that she was making the situation significantly worse.
That’s rad too. You do you.
Yes, I am a man. I do just generally think it’s awesome that you’re getting married. I remember when that wasn’t allowed in the USA.
I drove through rural Arkansas at sundown once. I’ve never seen so many deer in my life.
I took my wife’s name when we got married. I hate my family and intended to change my last name anyway. Her family is awesome. It was an easy choice.
Interesting. I can still see the comment.
Thanks for that.
I wouldn’t go that far. There are people on here that would call me a monster for just being middle management.
The current argument I’m involved in is about an online platform that people can use to give recognition to each other. HR is telling me to give my team negative performance reviews for not using it regularly.
They love to remind me that there’s an app that everyone can install on their phone. The thing is, my team aren’t allowed to use their phones at work. So, the goal is to get them to tell me in writing that using this online platform is mandatory and that my hourly staff has to do it off the clock or face repercussions which is illegal.
That’s the goal.
As a middle manager in a corporate hellscape, one of my few joys in life is setting logic traps for HR and making them choose between admitting company policy is bullshit or directly instructing me to violate labor laws.
Honestly it would not surprise me. I had to double check.
You really don’t understand that the people who throw money at Ubi’s standard crap and people who 2d Metroidvania games are mostly different people with different values? The CoD/Fifa/Assassin Creed crowd clearly don’t give a fuck about shitty, intrusive launchers and kernel level anti-cheat.
Meanwhile, lovers of Metroidvania games looked at Prince of Persia and it’s competition (games like Nine Sols) and chose one that didn’t install malware on their computer.
The title is a typo. The link goes to the page for Worshippers of Cthulhu and that is the game I am asking about.
I’m considering buying this next week. Has anyone here tried it yet?
On PC it requires Ubi’s launcher and Denuvo. That’s enough to make me completely uninterested.
This is good but it isn’t quite the same thing. I want my phone to auto restart if I haven’t unlocked in for 12 hours.
