Gave it a shot this weekend after seeing a piece about it on Friday. Generally I thought it was OK. The match making kind of sucks and it took me a number of “quick play” attempts until I was actually able to play.
Gameplay was fun, if not a bit frustrating. I got completely smoked by a couple of people and it felt like they had deep knowledge of the maps which was tough to counter.
All in all, for the price, it’s worth a pickup.
From the article:
If the officers are not uniformed or armed, it defeats the goal of helping community members overcome fear of interacting with officers as they are, Mattson said.
I get the logic, but it seems like there would be a better way to go about this. My primary concern would be if we’re doing this event and some kind of loud noise happens (like a gunshot/acorn). That seems like a recipe for disaster.

It’s an institution around these parts and they don’t want you to forget it.
Well his own speech is absolutely free. I’m pretty sure that’s what he meant.
Just askin’
Like I get it, it’s scary and I don’t want them to have my data, but my picture is being taken ALL the time basically everywhere I go. Is putting my foot down for this specific type really making a difference?
I’m gonna fall through the ceiling :(
Even beyond renting, installing a wifi camera is SO much cheaper than running Ethernet all over your house. And if you need it run through an external wall? Even more money.
Call it what you want, but this requirement prevents me from buying their products too. I use no Meta services. Don’t wanna start.
Maybe some, maybe even most, but as a blanket statement, no.
I buy games and consoles but haven’t bought an Ubisoft or EA title in a decade. My own personal little boycott against bullshit required launchers may not matter, but I am consistent. I suspect others do the same as well and in aggregate, it might have an impact.

I own three switches for what it’s worth. I’ve purchased them legally and I purchased the games legally as well. I’m not a lawyer, but I feel like I’m operating within the law here.
You are worth keeping alive as long as you generate enough value for the machine.
Very much a thing within the reach of the average consumer with something like the MigSwitch Dumper. You get the game you paid for and none of the nasty bits (other than some emulation pain here and there).
My leg would like a word with you.

They definitely sting humans if needed.
I’m doing my part too!
I don’t know how it works under the hood, but from a user perspective it behaves like it’s in BFU. Biometrics disabled, phone code required.
