The majority of people are unaware or just don’t care.
It won’t replace any jobs entirely, it will just reduce the number of people needed for each job.
Not that there’s much difference if you’re the one being made redundant.

It can decrease the value of the game in the customer’s mind though, which can result in them being unwilling to buy it at a higher price.

Just release it as an unsupported “beta”. The Linux users will figure out any issues and give higher quality bug reports.
Adding emotes is a different skill set than getting it to run on Linux, but there’s plenty of UE5 games on steam deck already so surely it can’t be that hard…
I like lower decks but have never been able to sit through a whole episode of any of the serious star treks. I think it’s kinda made for a completely different audience?
It wasn’t that bad, you just have to reformat your pc every other week and have a second air gapped pc with anything important 😂
You could probably rent a seedbox or more generic service like an aws ecs instance and then download from the seedbox or s3 via tor.
