I bet the overlap between Steam games that run on hardware still running those OS versions and Steam games that run on Linux is approximately 100%
It’s like reddit, but I don’t have to feel icky.

Just a reminder about not tolerating intolerance.
The Paradox of Tolerance disappears if you look at tolerance not as a moral standard, but as a social contract.
If someone does not abide by the terms of the contract, then they are not covered by it.
In other words: The intolerant are not following the rules of the social contract of mutual tolerance.
Since they have broken the terms of the contract, they are no longer covered by the contract, and their intolerance should NOT be tolerated.
The freedom fighters in history are my very favorite heroes. I have never wanted to be one. Electing competent leaders always seemed like a much better plan. I really hope I never have to put in the hard work of using my body to protect my loved ones and friends. I hate that I’m even having to think about this.
It’s a single point of failure though.
I’d really love it if it would work automatically with many, many music sources (including streaming services like Apple Music) because my listening is all over the place. Plus it would be great if it had a SoundHound/Shazam-like feature to scrobble audio I hear when in public but don’t want to type to search or I’m not sure of the song title.
Great to hear it works with Plex. I hope it also works with Jellyfin.
Left and right feats mostly.
This button is primarily for turning the computer on.
Sure but you still need to turn it on though?
?
So many people referring to using the button to turn the computer off, but more than 95% of the time, you use the OS to turn a computer off. It’s only when there’s a malfunction you would need to turn it off with a hardware button.

Yes, that’s what you should do to run Windows.
And then use the noncompliant hardware for Linux.
How long with will working around the requirements work? If I need Windows, I’m not going to risk it.
If you need Windows, don’t run it on hardware that doesn’t support Windows 11. If you need it, do it the right way, so you can count on it working.
Now, what do you do with your old hardware? There are plenty of good ideas in the comments here.
Sounds like motivation to get the sequel done sooner.
There’s no limit on lengthening copyright. Currently it’s 95/120 years, but that can always change (and did for many years of lengthening).
For decades, copyright only increased in length in the U.S., and there’s nothing stopping them from extending it again.
It needs to go the other way, and it needs to be attached to the creative person responsible.
The inclusion of copyright in the constitution is for encouraging creativity. A short monopoly is all that’s needed. Anything more is just greed and does nothing to support more creativity.
Well, it should expire at 9 years after the work was made, but to reinforce that, it should be owned by a finite being.
