Not a solution. Much of the modern web is reliant on JavaScript to function.
And much of it works better and faster without JavaScript. Some sites don’t work in Noscript, but most sites run faster and work well enough.
Unrelated but last time they came to Jesus in China 20 million people died.
When I tried to ballpark it looking at my starships poster they seemed like they might be about the same. But you could be right, the Breen Dreadnaught could be certainly be the bigger ship.
The scenes in the isolation chamber in underwear applying gel to each other were totally unnecessary
I thought so at the time but later realized that was a key scene of the whole entire show. You missed a lot of the nuance. That was where T’pol developed her crush on Trip. Her crush on Trip was the only reason she became the first Vulcan to be able to stay aboard a human ship for longer than a few weeks. And T’pol’s presence on the ship advising Archer was what made Archer so successful in laying the groundwork of the entire federation.
but that fourth season was so damn good.
It was the best seaon of any Trek ever IMO.
I don’t think they had replicators. They were invented ~50 years after Enterprise.
It’s not immoral to truthfully tell someone they are donating to stop election fraud.
This is brilliant. Someone absolutely needs to do this.
or find someone for a pair programming session with you.
Then you would make it take longer.
Personal finance: !personalfinance@lemmy.ml
This is a big one for me.
Thanks for calling this out. I will stop posting content to lemmy.ml. What is the next best alternative to lemmy.world? I have nothing against lemmy.world, but would like to spread out content to different sites.
Probably one of the shitstains in Google’s C-suite after having signed a “wonderful” contract to get access to “all that great data from Reddit”
If they hadn’t bought and then shutdown what became google groups to sabotage Usenet they could have gotten access to just as good of a data set for free.
LMFAO This time the AI doesn’t even know that 6.12 > 2.537. It doesn’t even know to use the computer to compute things even though it literally runs inside a computer.
Me: is andromeda or ngc300 closer to us?
ChatGPT: Between the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) and NGC 300, NGC 300 is closer to us. NGC 300 is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Sculptor, and it’s approximately 6.12 million light-years away from Earth. In contrast, the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) is much farther, at around 2.537 million light-years away. Therefore, NGC 300 is closer to us than the Andromeda Galaxy.
It depends on how you ask the question, and there is also a randomization done on the AI answer that you get. The point is that you would be foolish to trust AI to accurately answer science questions. Why the f*ck would you want a randomized answer to a science question?
ME: how far is andromeda from caldwell 70?
ChatGPT: Caldwell 70, also known as NGC 7000 or the North America Nebula, is an emission nebula located in the constellation Cygnus. It is much closer to us than the Andromeda Galaxy. The North America Nebula is estimated to be around 1,600 light-years away from Earth. Therefore, in comparison to the distance between the Milky Way and Andromeda, Caldwell 70 is significantly closer to us.
In fact Caldwell 70 is over twice as far as Andromeda, because Caldwell 70 in NGC 300, not NDC 7000 (Caldwell-20). Also, the AI didn’t even answer the question that I actually asked.
I still can’t figure out what captcha wants. When it tells me to select all squares with a bus, I can never get it right unless every square is a separate picture.
That cant answer most questions though.
It would make AI much more trustworthy. You cannot trust chatGPT on anything related to science because it tells you stuff like the Andromeda galaxy being inside the Milky Way. The only way to fix that is to directly program basic known science into the AI.
they are essentially a talking version of all human knowledge
“Obama is a Muslim”
Linux is a product of the open source world
And has nothing to do with AI
FastGPT
Nice! I’ve bookmarked it.
Yep I could listen to this over and over. I would just add this.

Baker has been quoted as saying the song is about "a poor South American farmer who works hard all day and then sits by a tree and dreams of being a white bird with its freedom.
