VPN?
Why is this taking off but not Mastadon?
Don’t use Vivaldi.
I can use HEIC on Arch (btw) just fine. As I recall there’s some bullshit you need to download on the Microsoft store to get it to work. It’s a pain in the ass.
I am using the open source amdgpu driver. It’s the one that’s built into the kernel. I have tried multiple different versions of Proton both official and unofficial. I think this game is cursed to never work without trippy menus.
That’s what I’m currently using. It’s great software, I just want official support from GOG.
Update: I removed those packages as they made everything worse and even broke several other games.
This is good but can we please get a native Linux client?
Apparently it’s playable once you get into the game. That’s if you’re willing to blindly fumble through menus. I am not and I imagine most are not.
I tried that along with GE Proton to no avail sadly.
I installed the packages vulkan-radeon and lib32-vulkan-radeon just in case. Now I’m just getting a black screen with this game. I’ll keep testing.
I’d rather donate $10 to a charity that plants trees than be shown ads. That’s just me though.
I think Ecosia sells data to Microsoft. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Nice, I have a T420 myself. I love that machine. I was running Peppermint OS for a while. Until version 11, Hasn’t been the same since 10. The update from 10 to 11 kind of took all the magic out of it for me. Now that machine runs EndeavourOS.
That’s pretty cool. Do you have a potato computer or do you just like a minimal system?
It still works the same on any distro with SystemD. Side note, I have seen people getting Steam to work on Void and Artix.
You can install Photoshop on Windows and copy it to Linux. It’s a very involved process but it’s doable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzZQV5CBsGE
We already do. We wage cyber warfare with other countries the same.
To the teachers who told me I’m not gonna be walking around with a calculator in my pocket all the time, suck it.
True, forgot about Tor.
