Yeah Bluesky has 600k posters a day (and it’s been slowly declining). X has hundreds of millions of posters, literally two or three orders of magnitude more. It’s really sad that people can’t change their habits.

The Earth has 3 hemispheres, everyone knows that

It’s called antitrust now cause it’s the opposite of trust

You could just verify all ISBNs are valid on each edit, which would have some value in finding typos, but not doing that leaves this honeypot that could be used to identify AI slop accounts. Clever. Though maybe they’re wise to it now.

If the auto industry successfully locks 99.9% of their buyers into their walled garden by making it such a pain in the ass to bypass it, they’ve already won.

The album art torrent is a goldmine. Such a pain in the ass sometimes to find high quality album covers.

And each screen has infinite battery life! Oh and each is as flexible and light as I dunno, a sheet of paper maybe!

Honestly the incentive to “upgrade” a gaming PC the past decade is really weak. Aside from a few AAA titles almost all games run just fine on old hardware. Particularly if you ditch Windows.
So let’s just all refuse to buy this overpriced shit. The same price increases have already happened to GPUs and gamers felt like they “needed” to pay those prices still, nah fuck that, don’t give these greedy pigs a dime.

“If I keep the price the same, how will I afford my fifth’s yacht’s docking bay for my smaller yachts?!”

I did nazi that coming

A couple years ago I worked for a robotics startup that I learned got their start by 100% faking a demo for early customers. They had some magic box that an item would lower into and then the device would “scan” the item and spit out a bunch of data about it. It was entirely fake, the data was predetermined. That landed them a few early series investments that allowed them to do some “real” work. The founders were proud of this sham enabling them to start a company. Whole thing made me sick.

My Windows automatically read these instructions from my screen and I died!

DNS? DNS.
Pork rinds? Pork rinds.

When you crymin-max you neglect cry roleplay!

IMO they will not ever make ads with your family’s faces because it will turn people off. Instead, they will make a fake AI family just like your family that you can relate to but won’t realize is actually supposed to be you. That is what they do now with their targeted demos but there’s only so many ads you can make the traditional way. AI will enable making hundreds of variations of the same ad.

Just absolutely obsessed with dicks in this country
With gas prices at multiyear lows and electricity being so expensive it’s really hard to justify electrifying appliances. I was considering doing so (gas dryer, stove, water heater, furnace), but I think if I did I’d be paying an extra $300/month for quite a long time and that’s a hard pill to swallow.
