Googling didn’t reveal any useful answer, did anybody know it has an article about what’s the advantage of matter vs mqtt?

That article is everything what I expect from the sun…
Damn. I was looking for agrees for someone like that, now I’m stuck with a microATC board that is great but doesn’t fit in a 10" rack, why are there no 12" racks? ^^
Nice setup. I also started with a mini PC but couldn’t find a reasonable way to add drives, how are yours attached? In general I would love to find some reasonable prices DAS/JBOD options
Oh cool. Finally answered the question on where to reasonably publish my models. Now I just need to make them :)
Whatever you want. You did ten pushups… add it to the counter, ate sweets… add it to the counter. So it doesn’t count anything automatically, it just gives you a simple interface to keep track of stuff.
Depending on your skill set, relocating is not such a big deal. Of course I understand that it’s a leap of faith, if you don’t have already connections to that place.
I find the rack itself never the problem. You can get them super cheap… But single (ATX) cases are completely out of proportion. Does somebody has a good idea to mount a micro ATX motherboard and a couple 2.5" drives (external PSU)?
Just what the doctor ordered :) I’ll definitely go through it soon. Thanks for sharing!
All the best countries did that, and US will be greatest of them all, that is what he will make it. Great it will be made…
That would be communism!
FOSS is free and open source software, which is free to use and it’s source code is disclosed and allowed to used to variable extend, often (definitely not always) owned by private people or non profit organizations. “Just” freeware is usually used for proprietory software, which is free to use, but undisclosed source, so nobody can look under the hood and see what it actually does.
Cool, another service I didn’t know I definitely need
I lived seven years in Poland, somehow this sparks nostalgia ^^ I remember some news where passengers in a bus (crosscountry, not city) called the police because the driver seemed drunk… In the test he had like 4 promille.
Sounds promising. Thanks
Thanks for the info. I’m currently in a rather temperate place, so we are lucky if we see snow in winter. Do you use the space heater just for your own comfort or is it relevant for the printer? At some point I need to look into all the different printing materials.
A kind of related question, which bugged me for a while: what are the environmental temperature limits for a typical printer? Is it a viable option to keep it in the basement or garage? I’m wondering, because that would mitigate the noise, vibration and fumes issue.
“Do the Bender! Do the Bender!” *Sing :)
Ok, now I’m completely out. From the phrasing “matter over threads” I concluded that matter is the protocol and threads the RF Standart?!
