I agree planning around it is stupid, but I don’t see how that affects computer programs.
(let me clarify, this seems like an everyone-issue, rather than a developer-issue)
Programmer by day, burnt out by night.

Timezones are fine to program around.
DST is a bit of a pickle to plan around, but can be done just fine by a computer program.
Historical dates; considering leap years, skipped leap years, and times when leap years weren’t a thing or when humanity just decided we skip a bunch of years; are the bane of all that is good.
Personal recommendation: https://ipleak.net is a good website to check your DNS, torrent protection, and some more useful info.
Why would they add a “feature” that makes it look like files are deleted? That would only hurt their service.
Also, what virus here and there? It seems like their service hid files uploaded to it, not actually infect computers with anything. Am I missing something?
Just wondering if this is still happening over a VPN?
It is in the style of the original, where during Covid the page on “Migrating to the Netherlands” simply just started with “Do not migrate to the Netherlands”, before expanding on the Covid restrictions on place and what foreign nationals currently in the Netherlands are to do.
On one hand: Now that’s loud & clear communication. On the other hand, “Just don’t” really ties in to the stereotype of Dutch directness/rudeness.
I was wondering what the API tool had to do with it, but this is a different postman
Ah, Dutch directness… Nothing says clear communication louder than the Dutch
True. Will say that a previous workplace of mine had too many unproductive meetings, current one manages to find the balance where meetings are actually productive!
They’ve been doing this for months, at least with some piracy-related sites.
What’s the original to template? It looks hilarious!
Found it! It’s eat hot chip & lie. The text in the original reads:
any female born after 1993 can’t cook… all they know is mcdonald’s , charge they phone, twerk, be bisexual , eat hot chip & lie
That said, I love having the physical paper tankobon or physical figurines! I’ve even bought blu-ray boxes of anime series I love, so that u can actually have/own my own copy of the episodes and support the creators as well!
It may sound strange coming from a programmer and gamer, but streaming or even buying digitally just isn’t the same thing.
Online friends of mine from Japan often feel the same way, too. I really get the feeling that, at least among Japanese otakus, physical copies and merch is still something they value a great deal more than Western otakus/fans.
This is sarcasm, right? Right??
Also, “have taken up farming” is a saying for “leaving IT” in general
Can you let me know, as well?
Well, with that attitude the problem will persist 😉
Think of it as “also seeding on I2P”
Yes!
May OP request in peace
My previous company ran by the first paragraph unironically
The fact that paid images get boosted in search results, instead of good images, is just bad IMO
This doesn’t justify the price for me, this justifies getting rid of this system
Sounds like they hacked (out of) the box
