Yeah, but it shouldn’t replace forums.
Programmer by day, burnt out by night.
Yeah, but it shouldn’t replace forums.
Isn’t that just a bandwidth issue?
This is the way.
I can see how you were confused, but maybe don’t phrase it like that next time lol.
That’s true, I’ll keep it in mind! I thought I was being funny but I was just confusing and crude
Wait it is? The last sentence looks jumbled to me… I could use “English isn’t my first language” as a defence but I get the feeling I’m just slow or something
Do you smell burnt toast?
AFAIK it’s been implemented years ago, but only for when the uploader checks a box in the advanced settings for the video.
Some videos are barricaded with DRM, most aren’t.
I can speak for Nord’s client sending requests to Google for some reason, maybe not great for privacy thus not great for piracy either.
I can speak well of Mullvad, but advise against sending hundreds of bucks in one go as paper mail is not exactly well secured. There’s another VPN that happily accepts cash as payment and doesn’t need your info but I can’t find it atm…
Dumb answer: Just use a VPN, my guy.
Ah but… Nobody uses that! Because then you wouldn’t choose JSON
XML can validate itself and there’s the self-documenting WSDL; so while it has more overhead and an ugly syntax it can make for a more stable and earlier to understand API for your API’s consumers.
It’s fine in PHP, so that catches most server backends.
Ruby as well, it even raises a warning about the string where a bool should be!
Python handles it just fine, as well.
Rust doesn’t allow it, depending on the backend framework and server software this might give issues.
So depending on how this is handled a C# or Rust backend might cause the name not to be stored, but then I’d expect nothing to be stored… :/
IMO Kate is just VS Code or Sublime Text but worse. The LSP never works, I can’t have multi-caret editing, it’s harder to extend it’s functionality, etc. etc.
Just use open source VS Code (or better yet VS Codium), at that point.
An adware whatever should also be avoided.
Ouch fair 😅
Even though this is an old one, going by the ID.
Okay but programing or Unix jokes are whole different cake than openly admitting piracy unless you’re Meta.
Have you checked software links from the megathread from the sidebar?
I know there’s a lot of links, but that makes it all the more sure at least some of them will have what you’re looking for.
I don’t mind using it for larger teams, it can be great for organised communication such as dev teams!
But it shouldn’t replace documentation.
(Also, Discord itself is a proprietary, censoring telemetry wasp nest, your FOSS dev team shouldn’t be organised in it but Matrix, XMPP, IRC channels or something else open.)
