It sounds like Lupin is a puberty blocker too, which is like the whole thing the right is against… so they hire a guy who uses puberty blockers on kids, but it’s ok cause he believes it stops autism?

I think the audio detail was so high because it helped to sell the realism of the game. Go back and play those early games and they don’t look nearly as good as my brain remembers, but the audio helped to fill in the lack of gravel looking texture and leaves tussling sounds in bushes that had two twigs on them.
I drive a Ram 2500… so I have like the worst LED lights for other people. What I don’t get is why they don’t automatically dim as I slow down. It’s now like your headlights are needed to see as far down the road when I’m doing 0mph. Just keep them at the minimum and increase brightness as I drive, and if it detects another car in front of me just reduce light output while drive to -10% from normal.
If you’re talking about adjustable rear view mirrors then I think one of the last and only cars to do it was the 90s Mercedes Benz S class. They had it memory linked with steering and seating. It was weird and cool.
Also, if you’re charging your car in a PG&E area you’re technically giving them more money since the gas they provide is natural gas and not petroleum gas. You’d be sticking it to BP or Cheveron (or standard oil if you want to go old school).
These days I’m usually against the death penalty, and I know it seems a bit harsh to advocate for this… but people entering in an exit door should be absolutely blasted with an Anti Aircraft gun (thanks Kim Jong Un for the idea!). It absolutely rustles my jimmies.
He has total presidential immunity. He could order all records and videos of him to be removed immediately and then force everyone to start referring to him by whatever name he wants. Today he’s the first female black president. Tomorrow he’s our first Asian supreme leader, and there’s absolutely nothing we can do about it.
Lenovo is at the top of the enterprise devices game right now. I always say they operate in cycles and usually each brand trades every 2 years who is at number one.
I still will always shit on HP. And HPE Aruba switches are absolutely trash.
Pussy in bio ☝️☝️☝️👅
A cyber truck had a major malfunction and stopped working because it went into a car wash without being in “car wash” mode. The joke is that Cybertrucks cannot get wet.
That’s the beauty of James and what he represents for those of us in the deep coffee scene. It’s both.
Coffee is incredibly complex and nuanced. It’s got everything James talked about and then some it feels like. With that though, it’s easy to get lost in the pretentiousness of it rather than just enjoying it for its primary focus: to be coffee.
Spend 5 minutes on any HS campus during passing period and you’ll see that it’s correct to say capture.
Blink twice if Apple is forcing you to read this article. Otherwise you could just keep scrolling if you don’t care that much?
Maybe a company that has (mostly) made consoles isn’t exactly playing games or has people on staff on the executive level that play(ed) on a PC. I’m 30 and outside of a brief time I tried to play on a PC I’ve pretty much been console my entire life. My first gaming experiences were all on console. It’s completely logical for a company to make a move like this when they have specialized in one area for a time.
Good news, it’s surrounded by water! Bad news, it’s surrounded by water. 😡
I think Google just sent out a memo to all apps pulling the YouTube API to start showing ads or they’d slow their services and potentially stop them.
They’re running Android (Google) TV
No browser, likely app based (hence the TV)
You could theoretically run a PiHole, but I don’t believe that works too well on YouTube anymore. Especially considering the tight integration Google utilizes for their ad services with their non-paid services.
Probably about half. 😅
I’ve worked in education for 12 years and it’s been a shit show the entire time. We even say in education that high school drama carries onto the staff.
Tesla was forced to make their NACS charger an actual standard for the US due to some regulations and rules. Anyways, the gen 4 or 5 charger they have coming has a cable extension for this exact reason. Musk and others noted when they opened up to other manufacturers that it would be difficult to use them due to location of chargers. The Rivian owner isn’t a jerk, just someone who was trying to fast charge and the charger wasn’t built for their vehicle.
As for the signage, 100% they should have taken them down 12/31/23 as that’s the last day they stopped being Tesla specific. All late last year and up until March of this year one after another companies have been falling inline to unify around 1 standard. Thank god (engineers and standards organizations).
I think they just took two screen shots and put them together but with the one about iOS 17.3.1 being overlayed slightly on the other.
This is highly dependent on the state and even the areas within a state. Here in California for instance we have the Williams Act which lays out a ton of guidance. Some of which impact students paying for things at schools. Some districts in the state view Williams Act and 1:1 Chromebook deployments as being something that the student/parents aren’t responsible for paying for even when they purposefully damage it. This can change though from region to region in the state based on how a districts legal team and its board chooses to read the law since no one so far (at least as far as I was last aware and I work in edtech) has pushed to see where it stops or starts. I’ve worked for districts that were on separate ends of that spectrum and even in the district that made parents pay for damages we still would give them a replacement and not charge them since it was added to a “tab” and only if they wanted transcripts did they have to pay.
