This is where the Heroic Games Launcher comes in, it only downloads the game itself, no Epic Games Launcher to be seen
So my fear of sharks has gotten better, and I don’t quite understand why.
Curious 🏳️⚧️
But anyhow, you’ve probably found me because you’ve seen one of my totally inconspicuous comments
I’m open to chat about these and other related things over on Matrix

I do like the mechanic though. Really forces you to adapt your playstyle. Some enemies are slow enough for it to not matter, and then with others it might actually be better to take some armor off, so you can dodge their attacks better.
Enotria: The Last Song, it’s a soulslike set in colourful Italy, basically. Has some interesting mechanics for how builds and loadouts work.
Though I wasn’t able to play through the entire demo because I’m starved for video memory
Yeah, I don’t remember there being any pointers about equip load. On one hand it makes perfect sense, put heavy armor on and you’re slower. But on the other hand, it’s a video game, so many players wouldn’t expect it and then spend hours trying to figure out why their controller rumbles when they roll
The first Dark Souls is pretty clunky compared to modern games though, to be fair
I still don’t get how cramming 108MP on this tiny of a sensor is going to help anyone with anything
I’ve never even heard of it. Anyway, use Graphene if you have a Pixel, and ideally DivestOS if you don’t
Most of them, that’s fair. But I do see a distinct lack of email apps supporting it.
Not common enough, when you look at the small list of apps that support it
I’m at a point where I wish Firefox had the option to automatically load sites in reader mode, when available
It’s going to be part of the 3.0 release, after what feels like an eternity. The 2.99 dev release has it already, I might try that
Is Vanguard actually that much more effective than say, the EAC that we have on Linux?
Linux only grants access inside user space, so yeah. Says a lot about any game that refuses to adapt to that
It’s nice that the option exists, I didn’t know that. But I have to say, I’m still not a fan of the overall concept of bridges
They make things so much easier, having to make copies of every layer every time just to keep the original in case you need to re-do something half an hour later is super annoying.
Especially if you do multiple different things with a layer. Do you really have the patience to make backuo copies of a layer after every little edit you apply to it?
And then let’s say step 2 of 5 didn’t turn out like you want. Backup copies or not, you still have to re-do everything from 2 to 5 because of GIMPs destructive nature as of right now
Fossify Contacts, perhaps
You know why the person themselves is the important part of this equation?
Because they know what tools to use for which purpose.
For example, GIMP is only now getting non-destructive editing through adjustment layers, which is such an indispensable feature for important projects
Be so nice to notify your contacts about breaking e2ee then, will ya
Some crappy DX9 titles run better with DXVK across the board, Windows included. It never occured to me that you can use DXVK on Windows too, but games like GTA 4 run so much better with it.
Hell, Lutris can even set up the original 1989 Sim City for you. Seeing that game on modern display sizes and resolutions is quite something
