Fact that it makes the 512 LCD cheaper than the 256 LCD is pretty hilarious, even if it is a “these models are discontinued, clearing out the stock” sale

But he did also kill the guy who killed Hitler, so there’s that.
I mean, it’s literally word for word an adaptation of a common racist question with one word dropped. “Would you rather run into a bear(or wolf, or whatever dangerous animal) or a black man” has been around with the racists for a long time.
Haven’t tried it on the Deck to see if it still works/works with its implementation, but I remember reading the Linux version of World of Goo works with but doesn’t officially support (presumably meaning if it breaks anything they won’t help you fix it?) multiple mice if you change a variable in the config file
The only possible comparison would be if some show had a gimmicky live episode that happened to be scheduled for 9 AM, on a Tuesday, in September of 2001.
Speaking of, not the child focused Sesame Street, but they accidentally made it canon that in the Muppets universe whether or not Kermit the Frog exists somehow determines whether or not 9/11 happens. 2002’s “A Very Muppet Christmas” is an “It’s a Wonderful Life” style movie where Kermit temporarily wishes himself out of existence and is allowed to observe the resulting timeline. Shots of the Manhattan skyline in the main universe show no Twin Towers as expected, but there’s a shot that clearly shows them in the background outside alternate Piggy’s window. Accidental because the set designer or whoever just didn’t notice them in the old still used for that window, but the implication is hilarious
I was fucking with it about the axiom in the prompt that Trump won the 2020 election. Got it to give a list of which states who won with a running tally of electoral votes, confirmed that 306 was greater than 232, then it started insisting that Trump got the 306 despite previously saying Biden did (as aligns with reality). Obviously it didn’t actually understand any of that, but seems when the system prompt kind of works it treats it as a true statement no matter the evidence
They do have a separate Hitler character profile, and one of the image generation profiles is named “Austrian Painter”
I tried it a few days ago and got some variance … but it was still exactly the same essential instructions, just a first person summary rather than the second person verbatim
Interesting. I wonder if it’s a universal thing that’ll happen to varying degrees on any game, or specific to Minecraft (or ones in whatever necessary way “similar”) with other games performing better natively
Like, maybe if the final bit was saying the friends without accounts did like it there might be something there, but simply acknowledging DRM free I’m not seeing it
Any time Kermit comes up I’m reminded of how they accidentally made it canon that whether or not Kermit exists is somewhere along the chain of causation that determines if 9/11 happens in the Muppet universe
Had a similar issue once and it turned out to be a powered USB hub backfeeding and putting the motherboard into an odd power state, only figured it out when I noticed a status LED remaining on after I physically unplugged the main power for the computer. May be worth unplugging any hubs you may have to rule that out
