Yeah that was both subtle and not quite so subtle. Lower Decks is multi layer genius.
I ran from Reddit, it be like that

Probably, or employees’ families maybe?
“That’s a nice little nephew you got there, it would be a shame if something happened to him “.
Asking because you don’t know is not stupid. Cooking up the absolute bottom of pseudoscience interspersed with gobbledygook about your relative-inherited intellect is so massive… now that is stupidity.
Paper towels aren’t very good at sucking. If they were, they’d run out faster on the gent’s than Musk buys a social media company.
I much prefer OnlyFans spam over Farage’s gurgling nonsense any time.
You’re not wrong. I do have the app because the mobile site shits on my browser (I have anti tracking, cookie blocking, ad wiping defences), and there are a few niche communities I find important that stick around (and r/sysadmin, while not exactly niche, is really useful for me)
This is fun but partially incorrect; yes, more money is better quality, however zero money means infinite quality. Prove me wrong, exhibit A is “the other site”.
Keep the free one, sell the others just below market price (say, 104$). Then, buy more 4th-free-books. Again, keep the free ones etc etc ad nauseam. You are going to be so rich! So much so, you can buy X, and on a whim call it Twitter, just because you will be filthy rich and can afford such futility!
Maybe, maybe not - but I do remember the review of “Return of the Jedi” in my teenage magazine from 1983/84, where indeed they quoted Lucas as saying that there would be 9 movies in total. I think there was even mention of 3 prequels, but it’s been 40 years so… I might be wrong on that.
Well, he did lose on Jeopardy, so I guess to balance it out he must have all the answers?
AI will continue to be shoved into every aspect of all of its products until morale improves
Stahp! I can only get so hard!
Of course. Rules for thee and not for me.
Yes, they will. We’ve seen it before in mostly less serious cases: Diginotar, Türktrust, Symantec, etc. As brittle as the CA system can be, when there is real enough trouble, CAs do get revoked.
I agree, it’s far from perfect.
You are technically correct, best kind of correct
It is indeed true that some CAs have seriously misbehaved; however, browser builders are rather strict on the presence of the CAs they trust. Misbehaving or even simple errors are reasons for getting kicked out, after which certificates signed by those CAs are now no longer valid.
Happy, he’s happy. Good boi!
Indeed, that’s exactly what it is. And godawful too.
Ah yes, and just like in Corona days, a serious number of them then dies, and the remaining ones will cry “why is the government doing this to us?!”_
Well done, well done
