Cause the free alternatives are trash, so… it’s not like “free is better” is always true
I did lol, why the hell would I recommend it otherwise?
It’s a search engine, so to be better than the others it’s obvious it would have to return better results than the usual ad-based crap — and it does. There is a free trial and you can check out if it’s worth it for you btw
It has quite a lot of QoL features for searches, but their main one — searching — is worth the cost; if you do a search once in a blue moon or append “Reddit” at the end of a query, it’s not imo since any search engine is “good enough” for that. If you instead actually do a search without having a specific website in mind, it’s good. You can also filter out the quora and other shitty websites results, which is nice
Kagi is better
It’s not enough for me to buy games there first, but mostly because of Steam Deck. Even though PC supports pcie4 as well, the fact that it’s a standardized hardware feature with built in hardware decompression means games can rely on proper loading bandwidth.
holy ignorance
This thread is so weird lol
I wonder what’s the better API jQuery has compared to vanilla Js Tbf
If you don’t play the Halo trilogy at least once every year the flood wins
Mass effect or BG3 or wrath of the righteous (side quests are kinda trash) or dragon age
I try to fight some battles about ads, accessibility and an open web but I’m a failing don Chiosciotte; best I can actively do is test mainly for Firefox and make sure everything works properly there but for more business related decisions (see: ads, consent etc) there is little to nothing I can do
Do not tempt me I’m stronger than this
Do not tempt me I’m stronger than this
Do not tempt me I’m stronger than this
Do not tempt me I’m stronger than this
Do not tempt me I’m stronger than this
Or some stupid Facebook “””issue”””
I mean, it’s two unique cheracters why are people so confused?!
What’s that Lemmy theme?
The designer team once did a toggle button with the inverse logic and I was so confused when I had to implement that. It must be my antithesis.
It works if you visited the website already but the first time it breaks: reloading fixes this while emptying the caches breaks it again. As another user pointed out the first click after emptying the cache doesn’t do anything at all even though the animation plays out just fine
EDIT: I’m on safari ios, latest stable (17.3.1 if I’m not mistaken)
Your theme toggle is confusing, it shows the sun when the dark mode is enabled and vice versa
You thought it was true but it was I, One!
What if it only contains @?
I will check it out, ty
