Yeah it’s weird. It’s really easy to forget to use your consumables in this game. It tries to help you out by automatically throwing them in your hot bar, but once the section on the side gets filled up and you get used to ignoring what’s there you may as well stop picking shit up

I could be talking crazy here, but in regards to the clawed hand situation - perhaps the mind flayer is seeing it’s own hand opening a holding pod? I don’t know if more context is given in-game, but based on the quotes you provided it doesn’t explicitly state that the face belongs to the claw-handed figure. Maybe the memory you see is of the mind flayer opening your pod?
I thought that the one with Dror was our captor, but maybe it’s the one we fought the cambions with. The narrator tells you it’s the mind flayer that was on the ship, I guess it’s a little vague

I’ve sunk almost 500 hours in to baldurs gate 3 since it’s release. Despite that, my favorite game I’ve played this year is probably going to be Tony Hawks Underground. I recently got hit with the nostalgia wave and have been playing THUG 1 and 2 which were major foundations of my childhood; the soundtracks are unbeatable (“Deadly Sinners” on the same playlist as “Burning Ring of Fire”? Who makes games like this anymore?) and the story and characters are the perfect level of bad.
If there was an option to hide items marked as wares, this would help.
See above 😉 I do wish there was an option to filter out wares though. Also beware I believe that the “add wares to offer” button does not pull items that are stored in other containers. I’d have to experiment with it more to give a definitive answer but I know that alchemy ingredients in your alchemy pouch do not get added automatically
It gives you an option to auto-add your wares to trades 😉
It will stay in your inventory with a marker and when you reach a trader there is a “add wares to offer” button. Just found this a couple weeks ago myself

Yeah, I’m the same way as you in most games, I’ll do as much as possible in one playthrough and then ignore it for a while until I decide to play again and make different decisions.
This game you simply cannot play it that way. Too much story is locked behind decisions and there’s huge parts of the game you’ll never see if you only play it once, even if you try to do everything you can. I’m doing a Dark Urge playthrough right now and making most of the decisions I wouldn’t make in a “normal” playthrough and it’s a bunch of fun. Also doing this one on tactician difficulty which makes things a bit spicier.
This is the answer. I’ve had a 256gb SSD with nothing but Windows on it since 2018. Every time Windows starts to get a little feisty (far too often… sigh…) I just nuke the drive from orbit and spend an hour reinstalling windows rather than spending a weekend or two shuffling things around to get back to where they need to be.
Only thing that’s mildly annoying is most things expect everything to be on the C drive by default and it can be a little annoying navigating programs that don’t “remember” the last folder they looked in. But telling the boys that you have to reinstall Windows and then being back on for games the same day, definitely worth it.
