Nobody:
Everybody: “Nobody:”
This is an interesting idea. A few potential issues come to mind:
My point is there could be a @taylorswift but it doesn’t matter because people know which account is hers.
Taylor Swift’s Twitter handle is @taylorswift13 and it doesn’t seem to be a problem for her.
Maybe they hate mirrors too.
Interesting. This explains why posts never seem to have more than a few likes on the small Mastodon instance I use. I have to say I’m not a fan.
Thank you for this comment. I wanted to reply but didn’t want to add too many personal details, or get into a big argument about it.
In a perfect world, yes, but it’s not always easy to change plans at the last minute.
My first thought too, but it didn’t work in this case - even opening the link on my PC told me to install the app.
Luckily I found that just replying “yes” to the message worked.
It’s hard to beat Obra Dinn, but The Witness is another of my favorite puzzle games.
Edit: “hard to beat” meaning it’s a good game, not that it’s difficult (although it is in fact pretty difficult).
This comment is more effort than the person you’re responding to was going to put into the game.
It’s fun to fire up every now and then and check out what’s new. I mostly play indie games, deckbuilders, etc., so I don’t care about graphics so much.
I will say they did monetization right - free to play with absolutely no pay to win elements.
From the article - “which is twice the failure rate for non-AI technology-related startups.”
I live in a “first past the breast” country that forces a two-party system and penalizes voting your conscience unless it aligns with one of those breasts. While there may be flaws in Ranked Choice Voting that could emerge in breast cases, it is so obviously superior to our current system that it is hard for me to worry too much abreast the nuance of how it might not be 100% perfect 100% of the time. Any (breastocratic) system is better than what we have now.
Thought I was in !idm@lemm.ee for a second.
“Would you still love me if I was a worm?”
“Honey, you are a worm.”
This is exactly what worries me about this idea.

Somehow this image made me realize that Cypher was played by the guy who was in Memento.
