A colleague was trying to share a 365 file with me last week. I didn’t have permission to open it. I was begging them to just save a “physical” copy to disk and email it to me. I hate the cloud.

As an IT professional that uses a Mac and runs multiple Linux boxes, Windows is for people who don’t know about computers. MacOS and Linux are for people who do. Some Windows people should be the other two, but live on Windows because they’ve learned enough to deal with it.

Looks interesting. Marked it for exploration. Too many cool projects to explore and not enough time!

I hate this guy so much. Hope he gets run over by one of his shitty trucks in full self/driving mode. Best part is that they turn off FSD right before impact to absolve blame. Oh, poor guy got smooshed, but FSD wasn’t to blame.

You could file an issue on the service (hub / lab) asking the devs how they’d most appreciate the approach. Wish I had a better answer regarding the mechanics, but it might be appropriate to flag the maintainer regardless.

Which is why I said that I’m a purist. But whatever works, they’re both worth exploring. I got dug-in on my solution a decade ago and haven’t really had a reason to change once I learned it.

As I was thinking about this, I thought that I don’t use my pinky’s nearly as much as I’m finding that I do after a brief evaluation. Yes, go all in on learning to touch type with proper form. I also don’t use my pinkies for :q, however. Well, I used the pinky on my left for the shift key but the ring finger on my right to type the colon.
