Good to know!
Good to know!
It’s RomHacking.net.
I hope they’re also looking at providing Steam Deck support for the original game too, otherwise there are going to be a lot of disappointed potential players looking to try/revisit the original. Like me:/
Never did manage to finish it, stuck on the last boss. Pile of shame.
Perhaps I should pretend I have a piece of Nokia cell network equipment. I still don’t know anyone else with one.
Oh, oops. Guess it’s clear I didn’t read the article!
I’m using one and it’s pretty good all round. That said I don’t know anyone else with one.
Had a look to see how easy it was to get it up and running on the stream deck. I’m a massive Fallout fan, but it was just all too hard at this stage.
I’m waiting for Red Dead Rising Redemption Deluxe Remaster Ultimate.
Guess I’m having lots of good runs then :/
My Steam Deck has been quite crashy with Halls of Torment. Wondering if the new firmware might help. No idea of how long, or whether this kind of firmware update will eventually get pushed by Valve out to Stream decks in a stable version update. Should I wait or god forbid try to learn how to do the update myself prior?
Seriously, stop
Cheers bud
If anyone cares I eventually got it to work by dropping back to the desktop, starting Steam there and reinstalling. Who knew?
Yeah thanks, that’s really helpful. Like I didn’t do that in the first place.
Trying an uninstall then reinstall. Wish me luck!
Guess some people are just lucky
I’d be one of them but damned if I can get it working on the steam deck. There’s a process around with over 70 steps to follow, but so far I haven’t had the time or inclination to do so. It’s the only real failure the deck has had for me.
So not much of interest, at least for me. Stability, UI.
”What’s actually changed? Frankly, there’s too many individual improvements to list. But some quick highlights:
For users it should provide a more stable experience overall. There’s better error handling, more in-depth progress notifications for Decky and plugins. Along with Decky being properly usable without an internet connection. There’s also various UI styling improvements. You should also hopefully never see the boot-loop problem again with some recent changes.”
