Platnet and iNaturalist are pretty good for plant identification as well, I use them all the time to find out what’s volunteering in my garden. Just looked them up and it turns out iNaturalist is by Seek.

Sounds like a clever way to avoid saying they’re underselling.
Better yet, take my blood. I don’t process iron like others and it accumulates in my body. The only treatment is bloodletting (therapeutic phlebotomy).
And they did:
In a statement, CEO Bryan Humphreys said, “While pork producers support the committee’s recommendation to increase protein intake, their recommendation to replace animal proteins will severely compromise the American diet, as plant proteins are not nearly as nutritionally rich.”
Tyson and Purdue “farms” will have something to say about this. Same as when the food pyramid was drawn up by meat, dairy, and grain lobbyism.
And yet every newscast has a stock ticker. Even NPR gives the stock index ratings several times a day.
Because one delivers on its promises. They promise hate and divisiveness and deliver in kind. Democrats promise hope when what we need is action.
I’m glad it is this obvious from the outside. I’ve felt gaslit ny entire life living here. We’re sold this bill of goods, The American Dream, but we have to buy it on credit and it never really meets expectations.
The sad fact is its taken the general population around 50 years to wake up to the klepto-kakistocracy being forged and the only hope I have is that they’re overplaying their hands too soon while the general population still has a hope of reversing course peacefully.
In our neighborhood a lot of families set up a fire pit in the driveway and hang out passing out candy. It’s something we hadn’t seen before moving into our neighborhood and we love it.
Yup, we also add French and German in the mix!

1.7% nationally isn’t much when spread out. I’m sure there are districts out there which are predominantly Puerto Rican, I just don’t think they’re a significantly large group.
Which is why I fully support making them a state and giving them due representation.
An estimated 5.8 million Hispanics of Puerto Rican origin lived in the United States in 2021
337 million in the US.
I wouldn’t call 1.7% spread across 50 states significant.

At least when you’re wrong about something you’re willing to keep doubling down and not see how!
The work these folks are doing is pretty cool. They utilize polarized light to allow for multiple viewing angles of holograms. https://axiomholographics.com/
